Mythos Plaza Restaurant - Ακτή Γιάννη Πάριου

After pigging out at Greek tavernas over a few days, we decided to get some pizza. The place is by the seafront and looks nice enough, if not a little modern generic. The front of house man was a colourful character but this wasn't reflected in the food. The wood-oven pizzas were fine, but nothing special, which is surprising given the quality of Greek ingredients. One of our group had mushroom pasta with very few mushrooms whereas their moussaka also received an "ok" rating. Two dishes, however, were excellent. Both a traditional lamb and cheese dish and a side order of herby potatoes with roast garlic, so they obviously do know how to turn out delicious food. If they could apply that to the rest of their menu, they'd be on to a winner. Little things also detracted from the experience. Wobbly tables could easily be fixed but led to drinks spilled. The men's toilets, meanwhile, had an unpleasant smell. If you have a hankering for pizza, give this place a go but, with so many other places along the seafront, they'd need to raise their game for a recommendation.

Excellent restaurant! The staff and service were very polite . I strongly recommend ordering soutzoukakia and pizza!

The moussaka special was good for two people, very delicious and excellent service.

Restaurant with becautiful view and with so friendly and nice stuff! We loved this place, thats why we visted it twice during 3 days in Paros. Best lunch menu, which you can share and after you always full. Everything was delicious and shot for energy after gave power ?

Almost perfect lunch if not for overcooked seafood. Picturesque outdoor seating on the water, fast and friendly service, and fresh, flavorful ingredients set the stage. Unfortunately, the seafood plate was overcooked leaving the fish, prawns, and calamari a bit dry. It's not uncommon for these tourist joints to be inconsistent so I'd still recommend giving it a try as the potential was there and it was still a very enjoyable lunch.

I visited the restaurant last week with my wife. I had a really nice dinner. We ordered two sea breams and a greek salad.Everything was delicious. I will visit it again to try pizza in the wood oven

My wife and I ordered dinner and our entrées took almost an hour to arrive. My food, the mixed seafood platter, was cold, and I asked for a new plate. I waited another 30-40 minutes for a new meal, and when it came out, it was the same piece of calamari and one of the same prawns just heated up again. The owner insisted that we pay the entire bill at full price, and the meal was already over priced at 20.50€ for mostly frozen seafood. Would not recommend this restaurant given numerous options offering similar food at the same price point and location. However, my wife's pasta was tasty and the ntolmidakia was good.

The food was good. It’s a great deal to get one of the specials they were very filling. The servers were very friendly and one was from my hometown in Canada. Took a little while to get our food, but that’s expected in Greece. Thanks for the great experience :)
