Dear Team of Karent rent a Car, It was lovely to drive the Panda, nevertheless, I suggest to change the small rug under the drivers seat as it folds easy under the accelerator. Also the car door handles needs to be lubricate. With out question I will rent again a car from your company and I been very impressive of the kind attitude of your staff. Super experience with them, I was welcomed by Kali, a very human and kind person, she was very helpful and arranging. The pick up process is smooth and quick, she even arranged for a new car as I extended my rental by an extra day and prepared the car ahead of the scheduled time. The location is also perfect near to the port. You can go there with you eyes closed.

I chose this company because of their good reviews and reasonable prices. I was let down when they decided to scam me and my credit card company. Upon returning the car, an employee stated he found damage under the front bumper. This was a result of scraping due to a dip in the road, which is inevitable in an area with poorly paved and unpaved roads. It's likely that the car (and all of their other cars) had this damage before I rented it. He told me I could either pay 120 euros cash or he would charge my credit card 280 euros and let me use travel insurance to cover the cost. This was extremely unethical and sketchy. They took advantage of card benefits to make more money from my one day rental. It seems like this is a rare occurrence based on other reviews, so I'm not sure why he chose to make me a victim of his scam. In the future, I will make sure to photograph all areas of the car (even under the bumper) before driving away from the rental agency. I recommend that anyone renting from Karent takes thorough photos of the car before getting in the driver's seat, otherwise you may be the next victim of their "damage" scam. The attached photo was after I returned the car and they claimed I had damaged the bumper. Update: just read older reviews and noticed others had the same problem as me. Seems like a common scam here. Following the reply: The employee did not use a system to assess damages. He walked outside with a calculator and typed in a few numbers and told me to pay that much. I wish I had videoed the event for proof. Photos were taken prior to my rental, but they did not take photos of the underside of the front bumper.

Easy and quick to sign the rental contract, all done digital, the car (a small Suzuki) was clean and perfect for the 2 of us on the tar roads on the Island. The car was brought to and picked up back at our hotel

It’s not right to rent a car that doesn’t have a full tank. The tenant does not know the consumption of the vehicle the type of roads encountered and cannot anticipate his mileage. It would be more honest to provide him with a full tank and ask him to return the vehicle with the tank full

Easy procedure via Internet to handle your details ( type of car; set your insurance / cdw; Hotel-delivery and collection ) , also preparation of necessary paperwork was done really fine by the Station-Manager , hand out and collect of a finally best conditioned car was done in a few minutes.
