There are mountains in the distance, ocean views, beaches, and markets. If you're looking to have a romantic and adventurous experience, check out this city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice old town. Tons of small stores to visit and shop, beautiful architecture, small coffee shops and restaurants, happy people. Loved this place and you can easily spend a day in the downtown area of Nafplio. The old parliament building is also located here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ it has some wonderful places, like cafes, restaurants, and a lot more than u could ever imagine of Souvenir shops all around the place, despite the fact its hot in summer sometimes, but its worth the visit there, u will get to enjoy the breeze of the sea aside the walking paths, also .. u will get the chance to visit the historical fortress all the way up the mountains, of course if u like walking and hiking that would be a plus , let's not forget the historical castle in the middle of the sea, i think u can go there by a boat if u want to .. don't walk if u don't like it, u can also rent a bicycle if u like riding on wheels too, and many more to enjoy a small place like that, i may have forgotten some points yes, but don't worry .. they have a tourist information cabin in the middle of the place u wont miss it in case u need it, i highly recommend u to visit there , enjoy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful sea side town full of that Greek charm you dream of. I recommend coming here after Athens to get a feel for the smaller side of greece.
Very tourist friendly with plenty to do , fortress, port, old town etc.
Lodging was plentiful and affordable.
