K	KimKim Dight Iuffredo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely Trek with Nana's Horses. We arrived a little late due to the traffic however Nana hurried us along, providing boots, hats, trousers and off we went. It was a hot day, July 2019, there were 5 of us in total and a guide. I've been riding for years and never have high expectations when on holiday, my partner has barely ridden so I accept the slow pace. The main focus was the beach, it's quite a long way, walking and trotting through traffic and back roads. I'm not complaining, just stating the facts. Finally we got to the beach, there were other horses already in the sea and swimming. We weren't allowed in too deep because we had the saddles on. To be honest I don't think I'd have liked to swim with all the horse poo floating around. So, having a paddle was great. I went in with the horse just to the top of my boots! It was lovely. We weren't hurried, the guide took photos. He didn't speak English but hey, I don't expect everyone to. We communicated by pointing and gestures. I think we were riding for about 2.5 hours. We had a great time. My only regret was I didn't have any cash for a drink at a little café on the beach. When we got back Nana greeted us and helped us off our horses. She served water and cake, and her 'mum' shared some lovely fried courgette with us. Yum. A lovely time had by all. Thank you Nana.

If you come to Zakynthos make sure you come to ride here, everyone at the stables are gold. They make sure you have the best experience & treat you like kings and queens. I rode Hercules & Ersula. If you want the best riding experience, and to be around great vibes, be sure to come here !!

The first part of the trail is partly on a road but it’s very nice once you get to the olive grove and farm areas with a nice view of the coast. They don’t give any instruction on how to ride the horses though, but they give beginners the calm horses. There is only one guide for a group of 10. It would be better to have one instructor in the front and one in the back for safety, but all in all, an enjoyable ride.
