 One of the most beautiful places in Crete ? I got there almost at sunset, I was all over the island, but the sunset I saw there I can say that it is not found anywhere in Crete! Church of St. Paisius…. The place is sacred !!! As if you are rising to God ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was here last October 2021. I really love this place.A beautiful church at the top of the mountain. It takes 30 minutes to walk to reach up to the top, starting from Damnoni.
The panoramic mountain/sea view from above is fantastic and breathtaking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was such a beautiful walk on a path through fields of wildflowers all the way up to the church. At the top, it was a typical, pretty little Greek church, filled with icons and burning incense. The views were amazing!
