Building of the late 19th century, from the mansions of old Thessaloniki with rich history and one of the most important modern monuments of Thessaloniki. Since 1997 it has housed the MIET National Bank Education Foundation and hosts mainly art exhibitions.

Χτίστηκε γύρω στο 1890 , αργότερα όταν εισήλθε ο ελληνικός στρατός εκεί έμεινε ο πρίγκιπας Νικόλαος ( ή Νίκη ) γιος του Βασιλέως Γεωργίου Α . Επίσης εκεί έμεινε και η τριανδρία Βενιζέλος , Κουντουριώτης, Δαγκλής. Αργότερα στεγάστηκε το 5ο Γυμνάσιο. Τα παιδιά στα διαλείμματα όταν έπαιζαν, η μπάλα έφευγε στη θάλασσα, ενώ κάποια άλλα ψάρευαν. Αυτά πρώτου γίνει η επιχωμάτωση και δημιουργηθεί η νέα παραλία. Αρχιτεκτονική με έντονα στοιχεία εκλεκτκισμου, πολυπλοκότητα στον όγκο του κτιρίου & ασυνήθιστη κλίση στη στέγη. Αρχιτέκτονας Pierro Arrigoni. Villa Mehmet Kapatzi. Rich donme of old Thessaloniki. Merchant, industrialist & banker. It was built around 1890, later when the Greek army entered, Prince Nicholas (or Niki), son of King George I, stayed there. Also there remained the trinity Venizelos, Koundouriotis, Daglis. Later the 5th High School was housed. The children during the breaks when they were playing, the ball left in the sea, while some others were fishing. These are the first to be the earthworks and the new beach to be created. Architecture with strong elements of eclecticism, complexity in the volume of the building & unusual slope on the roof. Villa Kapantzi - Cultural Center. One of the few preserved old 19th century buildings in the area. History: Villa Mehmet Kapandzi (English Kapandji) is located at 108 Vasilissis Olgas Avenue, in Thessaloniki is a villa built in the late 19th century by Donme Mehmet Kapantzi and today houses the Thessaloniki Cultural Center of the National Educational Foundation.
