★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful area for daily visit. There is a Greek taverna with barbeque where you can stop for lunch then you can walk to the forest nearby the Nestos river.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very impressive! Birdwatching is a must: pelecans, flamingos, ducks, e.t.c. Too bad the information centre was closed on a Sunday morning when all people come to visit!

Rubbish as far u can see ... really shocking...
It seems that the project was supported by the EU.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Long gorgeous walk along the river. We were lead by a pair of lovely dogs that apparently live there. It was such a great experience! Not a difficult walk to the railway.
