★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very small airport. In times when there doesn’t go a flight there’s no one around. There ist no car rent station or else. But if there goes a flight you don’t have to get there very early. There goes only one plane at a time. We liked that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's basically a runway. Don't expect any amenities. They are to be found. If you need a rental car plan ahead. People will meet you there and sign the paperwork on the hood of the car or get a Taxi to town and rent a car in town.

Having visited various airports in Greece, it was nothing special and surprising, it was small, cute and at times it was comically a room of 2x2 m of incoming luggage that could accommodate 2 people and where the luggage was simply pushed through the wall on a rusty tape :) The flight was just as comical where one aunt was the check-in, then for a while it was the baggage claimor, then the security check, so 1 in 3. The airport is tired and needs to be tickled, but things that happen in Greece happen when they happen and are done when done;
