★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Contrary to all the negative reviews I found the airport pretty good. Check-in was easy (Olympic)- took about 15 minutes.
The security check was a breeze too. Smooth, quick, many lanes. And after that the gate area (1b) was large.
Quite a few washrooms (not 2 as many have said) for men and women. One large restaurant where you pick up your stuff and eat at the tables.
The bus to the gate was easy too. And most importantly all the folks at the airport were polite. I wish all airports had such polite folks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a pleasant experience. It was hot. There was not nearly enough seating so we had to stand or squat on the floor for a long time. Bathrooms didn’t have soap. Signage wasn’t always very clear about where to go. However it was clean and had a duty free and several restaurants, which was nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ouch. Bad experiences here. Hot airport. Small. Crowded. Slow service. Dirty bathrooms with no hand soap ?. I could go on but then I’d just be crying ?. Not my worst experience in an airport but definitely one of the worst. Amazing island so you have to go through it unless you take a ship. I recommend flying because it is fast. Worth the time for sure. I hope your experience is better than mine. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small airport for a small island. I can see how it could get packed in the summer, but off-season, it was perfect, efficient, and pleasant, with minimal hiking from security to any of the 6 gates.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very small and cute airport. The staff were helpful. It provides reasonable services for a small place like Santorini. I don't get people who want to compare it to big cities luxury airports. This place was so clean and I've seen many expensive but dirty airports. You haven't seen Paris' CDG yet.
