Very much agree with the previous recent reviews. Personally wish we had booked through another operator, as while the destinations were great, the overall experience for the cost of 80euro each was disappointing. George, while was sometimes friendly and charming, mostly was grumpy and rude to the guests. Feels like he has been doing this tour for too long and isn’t particularly interested in the enjoyment for guests. For example: - as previously stated, we were welcomed by asking us for an extra 5euro due to a PayPal fee. Not sure why this isn’t just baked into the original price. George was unhappy we didn’t have cash on us then unhappy when we got 20euro out at ATM as he had to give change - George is too pedantic about the cleanliness of the boat. If someone dropped a crumb of food, it would be made into a big deal which made everyone fee uncomfortable - George told everyone there was only 1 restaurant we could eat at at the lunch stop due to the others closed because of COVID. As it turns out, they were pretty much all open and when guests asked to go to a different restaurant (the one George made us go to was expensive) he argued with them and said if they did, they would have to wear their COVID mask the whole way back on the boat. Which honestly made no sense.. Seems he was protecting an agreement with the restaurant. When you pay 80euro for the tour, you really don’t want to pay another 30euro for lunch. This was probably the tipping point where I really regretted booking the tour. George arguing with the guests and trying to dictate where they ate and spent their money was simply too far. - He was often rude to guests when they didn’t understand him or asked a question he had already answered. Again making us all uncomfortable. Some positives: - definitely felt safe on the trip - drinks were provided as well as cheese pie snack I really wanted to enjoy this trip and I think if you had George on a good day, it could be a great experience but unfortunately this wasn’t our experience. Sadly I recommend people avoid it and book through another operator.

Hallo everybody, be prepared to get ready for a decent review;) The idea of the tour is nice and very attractive to customers. However, Captain George adds a special flare to the experience. George guides his ship as a real pirate, making little distinction between the tourists on his boat, and his crew. Many of the tasks traditionally completed by the captain seem to be of little interest to him, therefore passing them onto you, from holding the torches in the sea, while he swims blissfully unaware in a scuba mask, only provided to himself to the amazing drink selection, notably consisting of old long-opened wine at the bottom of the bottle. Prepare to follow a strict schedule, when visiting the islands, as we did not get to finish our meal at the restaurant, due to the incessant calls from the captain, ordering us to come back immediately, so as to not modify HIS trip. For true adventurers still interested in the trip, please manage your expectations with the food, as well. The supply of water is however unlimited, as advertised. There can be only one captain to a ship!

The previous post is very accurate. The Captain is a great guy, tries his hardest but he is the Captain...total control, even where you sit, but that is for your safety. A surprise to everyone as they boarded, was that he asked for everyone to repay his Paypal Fee in cash, which is never disclosed anywhere. Snacks consisted on a small pastry and grapes.... one water bottle, no towels, no fins....all were advertised as included. Okay, all of that , really is not too terrible in the grand scheme of themes...could easily be corrected with rewording the advertisements. George is genuinely doing everything he knows to keep everyone happy, in multiple languages and cultures, has lots of water experience and that is most important on the sea.

Absolutely cracking day! Captain George was extremely hospitable, explaining sailing to us, showing us the history of the local islands, and taking us to explore Rina Cave. The day was quite windy, but he provided everything from swimming equipment and snacks to rain gear and under-water torches. We stopped for authentic Greek barbecue in Kalados bay and had a few hours to eat, swim, and explore. On the way back, we got to learn about sailing and even steer the boat! Many other tours didn't attempt our adventures in the high wind, but Captain George's great skill and experience got us through a wonderful day safely and comfortably. I highly recommend this tour!

Forget about big cruises, or fancy glamorous catamarans, if you want to live the full sailing experience, don't miss Naxos Sailing when you visit Naxos. Me and my wife and two 11 year old children really enjoyed our first boat experience, also snorkeling and swimming experience in the crystal waters of Paros. Captain George, who took good care of us, also gave us excellent explanations during the whole trip, as well as some basic sailing instructions. Well worth experience, and pay attention, George may allows you to pilot his boat!

Not ideal for large group for a full day of sailing; the ship staff were EXTREMELY friendly but we expected a nicer boat, actual seating on the boat and not having to lay on top of our luggage; Captain George did provide a great tour and has 40+ years experience, however for the amount of money each person paid for this excursion it didn't seem as advertised.. In addition to our group of 13 they had a crew of 2 and 3-4 other guests bringing the total head count to almost 20 people..Overbooked and tight seating; Caving jumping was an unexpected bonus - 5 stars for the Cave experience; As for the rest, We we're disappointed the free DVD/ CD promised to capture the day was not ready upon completion of the trip back in Naxos.
