We dined 3 times at Su e Giù while staying on Naxos. It is the best Italian food you will ever taste! Very good value for money (and it's not even expensive!). All the waiters/waitresses are so nice. Often Susanna herself comes to talk to her customers. She's a lovely lady and very bubbly and funny. We recommend you eat here at least once while staying on Naxos.

So we have the Seafood pasta and the lasagna and all I can say is WOW! GREAT Tasting, super fresh seafood, nicely decorated, and super friendly staff. They also do delivery to anywhere in town! And the will deliver their Sangria by the Liter !!! ( yeah, couldn't say no to Sangria delivered to our room!) Great spot to grab some food during your stay!

Charming restaurant at the port in the center of Naxos that stands out in its style from other restaurants in the line. Pizza is great, perfect dough, light and crispy on the outside with fresh and authentic ingredients. Pasta is fresh and homemade. Amatriciana was delicious, creamy, spicy and flavorful. Seafood pasta was the best I've had with a big amount of seafood that was really fresh and tasty, especially the mussels! Suzzana is really kind and friendly and we really enjoyed chit chat with her. Service is great, the waiters are charming and kind. Definitely a must if you are in Naxos!

Charming restaurant in the port at the centre of Naxos! So many things to love here. The tiny little details in the decor, the ambiance, great place to chill, hang out, people watch, see the sunset and of course the food and service. Courteous and polite, accommodating staff. Dishes are delicious. I love how generous they are in the seafood in the pasta which is very rare in restaurants plus they can customize their cooking the way to your liking. Vegan and vegetarian options. Menu is in Greek, English and French which is another plus. Highly recommended.

Dinner was great but unfortunately my group of 3 had a huge issue with the service at this restaurant. We waited a while to be greeted, then, although our table was checked on once or twice during our dinner, we waited an hour before being approached to pay for the bill. So long that our food was already packed in a to-go box (which was offered 15 minutes into the wait), and we had just been sitting for a while with no waiters approaching us, or even looking our way while attempting to flag them down. We eventually just went into the restaurant. One older gentleman that was at this establishment was particularly cold towards us and it seemed as though we were being treated very rudely for no reason. Regardless of this service, we still paid a tip.

Edited review. To be fair, it deserves 3.5 stars. Food was good, not great (I've had a lot of excellent food in my travels, so the bar is set high). Service was truly awful. I'm not sure if it's a Greek thing to just let you sit there for way too long, or if I've had bad luck at nearly every place I've been to in Santorini and Naxos. The hostess (owner?) was very sweet and spoke great English. However, after getting my second dish (pizza), I was left to sit for (at this point) 45 minutes without anyone stopping at my table. I haven't even hardly had the ability to flag anyone down. Not sure why this happened. Where I come from (the States), this doesn't get you tips, or happy customers. You can't get compensated for exemplary work (tips) if you don't perform accordingly. And since this is such a tourist heavy area, I'd highly suggest they reevaluate the way they handle their customers. Generally when spending $40+ on a meal for one person (not really a high priced meal), this is when service back home starts to shine. They are generally very attentive, and they know when to show up at your table, top your beverages up, and when to take dishes, even when sitting alone. Customer service alone would keep me from coming back. Food was definitely good enough to return for, and the views were great. As a business owner, customer service, for me, is everything.
