★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Discovered the place during the visit of the city. The architecture looked amazing. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to visit it back then. I heard the place is being renovated. Despite being a municipal odeon now, I hope it will be open to visitors... ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just so sad to see that the Greek government has closed down these Mosques and do not allow Muslims to pray in these facilities. This is what puts me off in visiting Greece, there is no inclusivity from the government. They are not tolerant and inclusive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great Catholic monastery church transformed into a mosque. The rectangular shape received three circular domes improving it's acoustic effects. A wonderful marriage of two worlds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was initially built on the year 1601 as the main church of an Augustinian monastery (having 6-8 monks). After the conquest of the city by the Ottoman Turks in 1646 the church was converted into a mosque. In 1887 the minaret, which is considered as a great artwork, was built. Nowadays the building serves as indoor concern hall as it offers great acoustics.
