J	Je an on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful rooms with balcony in a very convenient location just a few minutes walk from the metro station which goes directly to the airport. Hotel staff very helpful and made appointments for covid testing at a nearby center for €10 each. They can also bring a doctor to the hotel for €40. Have a drink at the rooftop restaurant for great views of the city and Acropolis. Definitely will stay here again if we return to Athens.

Nice toiletries, robe, and slippers. Very comfortable bedding, mini-fridge, balcony. The black out curtain wall was much appreciated. Some street noise, but to be expected given it's urban surroundings. Great location close to the metro and bus, 10 minutes walk to the Acropolis/Plaka. Best part of this hotel was the staff; very accommodating with early check in and room selection; delightful to interact with and an absolute pleasure.

Two blocks from Syntagma Square, steps from the heart of the Plaka, it's a perfect location for tourists who want to be in Athens and not in a cookie-cutter hotel. We walked everywhere (including the Acropolis) and we're 74 years old. It's that close to everything you want to see. Surrounded by local restaurants and cafes, it's easy to make is your base in Athens. The interior design is visually quirky - intriguing but not uncomfortable. The staff was tremendous; we felt that they were friends we had not seen in a while from the minute we walked in the door You can look out on the Acropolis from the roof-top bar and our waitress even set up a heater and brought a blanket to keep us toasty one cool evening when we enjoyed the view. I don't think I'd consider staying anywhere else in Athens - it was that much fun being at the NEW.

Room is super funky and fun but the mirror in the middle is a little dangerous and the stairwell outside the elevator a death trap!! Highly recommended ?
B	Brian Helms on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely wonderful hotel in the heart of Athens, the rooms are well done and very comfortable. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming and professional. The designer used the furniture from the old hotel on the same site to make some of the coolest art work I've ever seen in a hotel and it's worth stopping by for a drink just to see it all. I would highly recommend this hotel and will certainly stay again. Well done to all involved.
