★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Είναι κρίμα που μέσα στο νησί είναι όλα τα κτίρια ρημαγμένα. Ένας τεράστιος σκουπιδότοπος. Οι παραλίες ωραίες αλλά!
It is a pity that inside the island all the buildings are ruined. A huge garbage dump. The beaches are nice but!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Καθαρή θάλασσα, αλλά γεμάτη τσούχτρες και μεγάλες πέτρες. Θα μπορούσε να είχε αξιοποιηθεί το "νησί", αλλά ποιός να ενδιαφερθεί... Κρίμα..
Clear sea, but full of warblers and large stones. The "island" could have been exploited, but who would be interested ... Too bad ..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Στις 7-6-1992 επί κυβερνήσεως Κωνσταντίνου Μητσοτάκη και επί δημαρχίας Ιωάννη Γουρνή, εγκαινιάστηκε ένα σύνολο εγκαταστάσεων στο πλαίσιο δημοτικής επιχείρησης με τίτλο "Το νησί των ονείρων".
Ίσως πριν από τριάντα χρόνια να αποτελούσε ένα μικρό ονειρικό μέρος τουριστικής ανάπτυξης, αλλά σήμερα τίποτα δεν θυμίζει εκείνες τις εποχές. Είναι ένα ακόμα ελληνικό Πρίπιατ, μια ακόμη επιτομή της εγκατάλειψης. Είναι από εκείνες τις ελάχιστες φορές που αμφισβητεί κανείς την σχέση αξίας του τόπου σε συνάρτηση με τις τοπικές κοινωνίες.
Σίγουρα θα αναρωτηθεί κανείς γιατί η βαθμολογία είναι τέσσερα αστέρια. Η αιτιολογία έχει να κάνει με την λάμψη που αποπνέει το μικρό νησί ,όσοι βάνδαλοι και αν πέρασαν ή θα περάσουν.
Μπορεί να έχουν καταστραφεί ολοσχερώς κτίρια εστιατορίων , ξενώνων , φιλοξενίας και ότι άλλο θα μπορούσε να φανταστεί κανείς. Αν ήταν δυνατόν θα είχαν ξηλώσει και το ίδιο το νησί. Η λάμψη όμως παραμένει.
Στο πίσω μέρος του νησιού πανέμορφη αμμουδιά με καθαρά νερά φιλοξενεί κολυμβητές. Μέχρι και αυτοκινούμενα τροχόσπιτα βρίσκουν καταφύγιο εδώ.
Η επίσκεψη αξίζει για πρωινή ή απογευματινή βόλτα κάτω από την σκιά των ψηλών πεύκων. Όσοι δε ενδιαφέρονται για εγκαταλελειμμένα σπίτια και κτίρια , εδώ θα βρουν αυτό που αναζητούν.
Εδώ βρίσκονται επίσης έργα του πολύ γνωστού καλλιτέχνη γκράφιτι "Πλάτων".
On 7-6-1992, under the government of Konstantinos Mitsotakis and the mayoralty of Ioannis Gournis, a set of facilities was inaugurated as part of a municipal enterprise entitled "The island of dreams".
Thirty years ago it may have been a small dream destination for tourism development, but today nothing reminds us of those times. It is another Greek Pripiat, another epitome of abandonment. It is one of the few times when one questions the value of the place in relation to the local communities.
One will surely wonder why the rating is four stars. The reason has to do with the glow of the small island, no matter how many vandals have passed or will pass.
Restaurant, hostel, hospitality and other imaginable buildings may have been completely destroyed. If it were possible, they would have demolished the island itself. But the glow remains.
At the back of the island a beautiful sandy beach with clear waters hosts swimmers. Even motorhomes find shelter here.
The visit is worth a morning or afternoon walk under the shade of tall pines. Those who are not interested in abandoned houses and buildings, here will find what they are looking for.
Here are also works of the well-known graffiti artist "Plato".
