A unique restaurant in the heart of Athens. Every dish is a new experience. You have to try the persian salad which is a personal favourite.

Delicious, we had the dakos and pork as appetizer and a braised beef with orzo and a piece of fried cod as mains. They were great. I strongly recommend this place.

In a nutshell: the food and desserts are homemade, taste great and the menu changes everyday. Fast service, very unique decoration, cozy atmosohere, helpful waitress. No smoking allowed. Prices are reasonable. Now for the details... Nonna isn't a conventional restaurant. You can tell just by looking at it. No two tables or chairs look the same. Even most of the plates are different. It purposefully looks like a lot of separate Greek kitchens/dining rooms where brought together in one place. It looks great. There's also a big comfy couch. The food is pre cooked (on the same day of course) so your order will arrive fast (don't worry, it's nice and warm). There's a stable (slightly limited) menu but there are also multiple "dishes of the day" to supplement that. These dishes are only available until the shop runs out. The same goes for the desserts. Here's a tip: if you see something on the desserts' blackboard that you really like, make sure to ask the waitress to put it aside for you, otherwise someone else might buy the last piece before you're ready to have dessert (in which case they erase it from the blackboard). I certainly believe that you get your money's worth in this restaurant. Keep in mind that the portions are not oversized like they are in most places nowadays. There are not many different dishes available but they're all very different from each other so there's a nice variety to satisfy any taste. The food you can eat at Nonna looks like the food a Greek grandma would make at home. They have good vegetarian options too (try the vegetable curry). Overall, this is a really nice restaurant that I would recommend to almost anyone. It's easy to miss because it's located in a small, ugly street in Athens that you wouldn't normally pass through.

Nothing really special in terms of flavour.The prices are rather high considering the quality of the food. Decoration is more objective but nothing special in my opinion.Finally, i was not informed on time that there was a problem with the pos and therefore had to borrow some cash from a friend to pay the bill.

We had some of the salads w ever had with a Mediterranean flavor. Its not all vegan though, they serve some delicious meat dishes and veggie burgers. Organic wines and beer and many wonderful coffee drinks to choose from. Cozy atmosphere with a great service. The staff is very cheerful and friendly. If your looking a healthy meal it’s not to be missed.

Very cozy and friendly place, invites to stay. Nonna has a good selection of vegetarian dishes, delicious red wine and charming waitresses. And all of this is completed with a tasteful selection of soundtracks. I highly recommend to visit this place for a coffee, cake, lunch or dinner. You won't regret it.

Interesting place and imaginative cuisine. Delicious mushroom with pasta (kritharoto) and superb lemon cheesecake. Plenty of vegan choices.

Spacious cafe on a quiet side street in Psyri. Excellent vegetarian fare, plus coffees, teas, beers, and a nice homemade tsipouro. Good for travelers.
