Very nice hostel and cost effective. Receptionist Helena and Costa i presume was his name, had excellent customer service. The only thing could be improved that every door of the room could have own card reader to be more safe, instead of being unlocked all the time and common bathroom could have closing door.

Truly the best place!! I’ve stayed in many hostels in many countries and this was honestly my favourite. Such a good price. decent location (far enough so it’s not constantly noisy, but close enough to walk everywhere). I never took public transit once! And it’s in a pretty safe neighbourhood - I am a solo female traveller and didn’t feel unsafe at all. The rooms are impeccable - comfy beds, very clean. Clean bathroom. Lockers that they give you a key for!! No need to bring a padlock!! First time I’ve seen that. One slightly inconvenient thing is that the doors don’t lock automatically as they are locked with an actual turn key. Free wine 7-9 which is an amazing place to meet new people. Breakfast is actually good, especially for a free hostel one. Delicious Greek yogurt, honey, cereal/müsli, tea, coffee, breads, jams. Free luggage storage was so awesome and saved me from dragging my stuff around Athens for like 8 hours on my check in/check out days. But my favourite part: the staff. When I first got there the man was super helpful, giving me a map, telling me the districts, helping me store my luggage. When i came back to get my bad Before leaving for good, the lady was so kind and let me fill my water/assemble some food before leaving. She then gave me recommendations for my future travels and even wrote it down for me ? Can’t say enough about this place. Maybe the fact that it’s 1247am and I’m taking the time to write this essay says enough ? I will be back ?

Very nice Hostel, ca. 15 min walking distance away from Syntagma metro station. The rooms are sizable, with smaller numbers of people per room. The furnishing and conditions of the room are above average. The service personnel was nice and helpful.

Wonderful place to stay in Athens. These guys are amazing. Kostas (the Manger) is very welcoming and helpful, he treats you not just as client but as an old friend. Elena is another wonderful receptionist, very friendly. The location is central. Everything in walking distance. lots of cafés and bars. Definitely recommend

We were 2 people at this fabulous hostel on Christmas 2021 for some random nights. Since the very first minute, everyone working in here was extremely friendly and helpful. Constantino (the only I remember the name) did always the extra mile. The place is located in a good area full of shops and bars. Clean, safe, beautiful and cozy, with some nice decorations around. Special attention to the included breakfast, perfect for getting some natural Greek yogurt with a variety of grains and jams besides breads and drinks to start the day happy. We stayed at Nubian for five days, and we think it's amazing! Everything was clean and decorated with care. The receptionists all were extremely helpful and kind. The beds were very comfortable and the shower magnificent hot (it's winter time). The location is very good, about 20 minutes walking from Syntagma. The neighborhood is interesting, lots of bookstores, little bars and street art. It offers free wine for two hours during evenings, which was a great opportunity to meet other travelers, have great chats and even end up eating out together. I would recommend this hostel to anyone traveling wishing to meet very nice people!

I stayed at Nubian twice in the same summer season. It’s nicely decorated. Spacious and the staff is always ready to answer your questions. It’s NOT CENTRALLY located. However, this hostel might be a great choice if you want to hang out with locals. The center is TOO TOURISTY if this is not your first time in Athens.

Absolutely blown away by this hostel. I travelled solo during covid and there were some complications during my stay which they took care of with immense professionalism, kindness, and understanding. On top of that, daily cleaning was in place. It’s also located in a great location, just out of the touristy areas but a close enough walk to them. Definitely try the local restaurants. I could not tip them highly enough!
