Except the cheap price for a great location, nothing much positive to say. The room could not be locked. The window was broken so the air was passing through, very inconvenant when it's december and it's 5 degres outside.

Pros: Friendly and helpful crew. Good location and well priced. Cons: Very noisy: people taking shower in the common bathrooms at 2am and slamming doors in the middle of the night. Thin doors, all noises could be heard in the bedroom. AC unit very noisy, something was defective.

This place has pictures on all rooms but the female dorm on popular booking sites. Quite discriminating.

24h reception with this low of a price is awesome, long stairs to get up to the dorms but that's fine, super friendly night staff, quite central

At first it’s very bad spoiled and dirty the beds are far from comfy and you can get just for 5 euros more a better deal . Everything there costs money hmm locker 2 € also a downside . The rooms are freezing cold and at the reception don’t believe the airport bus is just 16min walk it’s more if you start at 2:15 you’ll reach the bus stop totals exhausted and breathing out of your last flaps at 3:20 am So the positive it’s cheap and if you only need a bed for 4h then it’s ok but look for something else it’s not worth it . At first I supposed to stay 3 nights, but continue another 3, and then one week.... and more Old building, but here has done renovating and doing right now also. Toilets and showers are renovated but... other customers has not respect owners property and had spoiled doors, and make dirty. Here is 3 toilets each floor, one unisex, one for women and one for men, marked with a pictures . Here is a nice staff doing their work, they all speaking at least English. Marina, a cleaner is nice and talkative person, she doing her work well. I have saw, customers are not so clean, they leave a mess behind them. Should feel ashamed of that kind of treatment. If want that places are clean, should clean own mess away, that way hostel is more better condition. Place is cheap, but it does not mean, that customers have a right to do whatever. Place is also more clean, what former customers has written, believe me, I see and I have a hygienic certificate from my country and done cleaning work. But upper stairs not been visiting yet, do not can tell what kind of condition there. Updating: I have been upstair since beginning of April. I was shocked how customers leave all mess behind them. There read clearly, that each one should clean places after using kitchen. When I went first time, since then I've been using my time to clean that place, to make it more comfortable to stay spend time there with other customers. That common area, kitchen and sitting area is our customers responsible to keep clean. So it is not right to complain about area, if not understand to look in the mirror, why kitchen area is not clean always. There is a fridge, microwave, kettle and stove, just enough to keep food in cold place and cooking food. There missing plates and cups, but those things each one can buy from shop with cheap price. I gave some of my things to other free use, but I stopped it right, when someone gone to steal my food from fridge, even packet was my name and room number. That person who stole my food, drop to the floor one egg, but left it there and next early morning, when I gone to clean area I had to clean my own food from the floor which someone else was leave there. So, each one who read this, know now, that place is nice, but customers spoil some things and sometimes cause some arguing between each others, but if you're nice for each one that place is great place to meet people around the world and talk with them. Also some do not care much about hygienic and cause a problems in shared room. If do not want to take care of itself, then is better take a room, when can be alone that other not suffer some stinks. Shared rooms have to take care of good ventilation, because in small room stay 4 persons and in the night is difficult to sleep well, if other smelling shoes are front of your nose... So, most of bad reviews are because of other customers and their behaving. Each hostel, as a hotel have their own rules, which we each one customers should following, it is best for everyone. If demand quality, have to remember, always that expensive is not high quality place and same can say for cheap place, it could be much better than more expensive. I have now experiences of many kind of hotel/ hostels and I recommend that place honestly. I'm staying here and some day, in future, if need a hostel again in Athens, sure come back to this place.

· Very clean and comfortable. Value for money. Great location. Friendly staff. The main downside is that I was not there to party and there was a lot of noise from the bar on the 7th floor. Loud music and noise from the people partying, that made it a bit hard to fall asleep at 01.00. if I was there on another context, I guess this wouldn't be a disadvantage though

This place is very cheap and relatively clean. There's an outlet next to each bed and spare blankets if you need. Also consider the €2 fee to securely lock your belongings away in addition to the accommodation cost.
