★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was rather poor, to the point that one of the main dishes came after everyone had finished their meal. The quality of the food very low, lots of frozen ingredients.
The staff were polite, but unfortunately that wasn't enough to make it an enjoyable experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to give it 3.5 stars, but three is really all I can give. The food was good, its a typical Greek taverna, but just a little too average. We had a fourtalia, a traditional local dish, an omelette with fried potatoes and local sausages. I guess the omelette was fine, but it was ruined by the awful sausages, full of lumpy bits of lard. I suggest you stay away from the fourtalia.
The finishing halva was delicious though, with raisins and a gentle hint of lemon. Another half a ?for that.

Very friendly service and quick, as well.
We had stew octopus,stuffed zucchini,and some appetizers.
Overall basic level but but nothing special or extraordinary.However , simple , easy and family friendly with homey cooking for reasonable price

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice location, food was good. They forgot one of our plate and we were waiting for 45 minutes to find out they forgot about it. Waiter was nice. Price reasonable. 5 minutes drive from Gavrio port, perfect stop before you catch the ferry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Words aren't enough to describe this place. One of my favourite tavernas that I look forward to visit every summer. I love the fact that it's a traditional taverna and hasn't been modernised as many others have in the island. Every time I visit I order as many dishes as I can and get something different as all their food is delicious and I have never been disappointed with their dishes (believe me I'm picky with my food ) However I can definitely tell you that I always crave their desserts especially the 'Halva'.
