★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best taverna we’ve had in Greece ! We’ve never been able to find a mousaka as good as theirs. The meatballs were delicious, so was the greek salad and banana bites in dessert.
The service was the best we’ve experienced as well. We wish we could have come back to taste their fresh fish (fished by members of the family).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem of Santa Maria beach. Family tavern with everything locally sourced. Great selection of meats and seafood. Tried the seafood giouvetsi which contained shrimp, calamari, octopus, and mussels and was absolutely delicious. Also enjoyed the vineyard green beans which are very hard to find these days. Will definitely visit again to try more of their seafood. Great prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing hidden local gem! We loved every dish here, and the whole experience felt like being invited to eat with a local family. The drive there was beautiful as well, glistening waters that's clear as glass.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic family run traditional taverna at small Santa Maria beach. We were walking down the dusty lane to have a swim and saw the sign by the turn off for the beach for the traditional taverna, what a find! Opens at 1pm, a haven of cool shade, gentle breezes, garden setting and wonderful tasting food. This is a well oiled machine, the kitchen and front of house are all stars, they do a great job. Delicious, great value and our waiter today was a star. Don't miss out on this treat.
