Best tavern in the northern part of the island. Fresh and authentic courses by my friend Georgia. Is located in the most scenic village Karavas.

Nice little tavern with traditional Greek food. Very clean!

Tasty food made of fresh kytherian products. Nice selection of traditional vegan cooked food and very good house wine. The menu changes following the availability of the ingredients, I love that! Friendly and polite service. Furthermore, the view is breathtaking especially during sunset.

Nice stop if you are around this area. The salad and starters were tasteful! The main courses were good but the portions weren't satisfied comparing to other restaurants in Kythera. The staff was helpful, the veranda was good. Preferable in evening hours due its sunny location If you are allergic in wasps etc be careful as there are plenty around.

Delicious food, lovely owner and her sister. The slow cooked lamb with lemon sauce was superb, as were the spiced meatballs in tomato sauce and the cabbage rolls, and salad. The local/house rose wine was so good that we asked to buy a liter of it to take home. Planning on coming back tomorrow to taste more of Georgia’s excellent home-style Greek cooking.

They take half an hour to even come to your table even if the restaurant is almost empty. They don’t even bring menus, all orders are oral (from what we saw from the table next to ours) so you can’t know how much it will cost. We ended up walking away since nobody came to take our order. Horrible service. The view is not particularly special.

If you enjoy home cooking, you’re in for a treat. This mom & pop rustic taverna, strategically located on the road to fourni beach and agia pelagia, serves wonderfully simple dishes, all fresh and delicious

we visited today June 10/2022 this typical, authentic nice little place and I can say this is the definition of a traditional, simple Greek taverna. The young smiling lady, Frosso, came immediately to the table, welcome us, told us what was available from the menu (since it's the beginning of the season , not everything is there..), we ordered home made zucchini pie, really yummy, a very tasty briam and a rich Greek salad. A Greek coffee prepared as it should. Super fair prices. Frosso and the young waiter , Albi, answered to all our questions about the story of the place and the villages around, really helpful. I read some recent bad comments about late service, not coming taking orders, not bringing menus etc. I didn't notice anything like that since all guests ( 6 Greek-Australians, 4 Dutch ladies, an English couple) who were sitting before us and left, seemed really happy, got their coffees, bills fast, and the ones ( a group of 10 old hikers) who arrived after us the same: both workers went immediately and took orders, fixed the tables, drinks arrived fast, food too. And I could see that for most of them it was not the first time there. This means something...So...?? Somebody else writes about the view!! The view is great overlooking a lemon tree garden, and far our the sea to the East till Peloponnese. OK, maybe not like Santorini's view to sunset, but still very very nice and relaxing. What else you need?? I recommend this place for a good, tasty meal and I ll try to return once more before leaving
