★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely and attentive service. The menu offering was small, but good portion sizes. The meals are prepared in homely style in large stew pots, these need to be reheated thoroughly. The food arrived quickly after ordering and not too warm. Sadly my meal gave me acute food poisoning, I suffered from vomiting as I made my way home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very down to earth taverna in the heart of the Petralona neighborhood. Value for money is outstanding as dishes are extremely good! We had rabbit styfado (omg!), fava and greek salat (feta was awesome!) and enjoyed every bite. This place is definitely worth a visit, if you like classic greek cuisine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for a Greek experience this is your place! The service is in Greek only but they will provide an English menu. The food was delicious, the service was quick and the prices are really affordable.
Special recommendations:
- house wine (white wine)
- Zucchini in tomato sauce
- Halvas

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the food AND the service was amazing! The women working there spoke little English, but were extremely patient with me and kind. The cook even took the time to show me everything she had prepared that I could choose from - this was very helpful (and everything looked delicious)! I decided on the beef, potatoes, and greens with zucchini. Yum! It reminded me of old school grandma cooking and I truly enjoyed every bite. I hope to go back again before I leave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Proper food at affordable prices. Staff were very friendly. Please note when comparing to other reviews, while it did take time to be served it wasn't a crazy amount. Its Greece, you're supposed to relax and sip away on your wine.
The owner's English is limited but he was very generous. He offered large slices of watermelon after our meal, on the house!

Nice to stop, pause and have dinner there whilst in Athens.
The gentleman running it is very kind! Speaks little English but we managed to communicate without any issues.
Dinner came very quickly and very well received all around!
One small point - wine wasn’t the best but given everything else, it’s a minor quibble!
