★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect car rental. A lot of car choices. Quite cheap, with full insurance. I had Peugeot 108 cabrio with automatic gear box. No need credit card. You can pay by cash! Car was very economic and quite new. Perfect for Crete wavy roads. Recommend it if you are in Kato Gouves.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked an economy car with 2/3 months of anticipation respect to our holiday, after having benchmarked the different agencies in terms of price, vehicles and insurance. On paper, the agency seemed perfect but one week before our arrival in Crete they contacted us telling us that our car was no more available and they managed to find us another one of higher level, thus requesting us to pay the extra difference! Obviously, being high season and with no anticipation I couldn't manage to find another economic car, which previously had found, and I had to accept the offer.
Once there, when I asked to pay with credit card they asked me for extra 20 euro (what?!? - totally illegal) and obviously they gave me no receipt or written contract. I understand that a car could be damaged but entrepreneurial risk shouldn't be switched on the final customer. Moreover, they have been extremely rude. Car worked but had faulty gearbox, which resulted in extra-fuel expense, and they asked us to give back with empty tank, which is absurd and risky. Terrible experience.
