★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Όσο αναφορά το δωμάτιο δεν έχω γνώμη γιατί δεν πρόλαβα να μείνω, ακύρωσα την κράτηση λόγο ασυνεννοησίας με τους ιδιοκτήτες που ήθελαν μέσω τηλεφώνου να με κατευθύνουν σε μια άγνωστη πόλη για μένα. μιλήσαμε 4 φορές στο τηλέφωνο και ούτε καν είπαν να έρθουν να με πάρουν από εκεί που μου είπαν να παρκάρω.
 As far as the room is concerned, I do not have an opinion because I did not manage to stay, I canceled the reservation due to a misunderstanding with the owners who wanted to direct me by phone to a city unknown to me. we talked 4 times on the phone and they didn't even tell them to come pick me up from where they told me to park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Φοβερό κατάλυμα, παραδοσιακό με πολύ φιλόξενους οικοδεσπότες και πολύ κοντά τόσο στο κέντρο, όσο και στο κάστρο. Δροσερό το δωμάτιο εν μέσω καύσωνα. Ότι χρειάζεται ένας ταξιδιώτης που θέλει να ανακαλύψει την Καβάλα! Το προτείνω χωρίς ενδοιασμό.
Awesome accommodation, traditional with very hospitable hosts and very close to both the center and the castle. The room is cool in the heat. Everything a traveler who wants to discover Kavala needs! I recommend it without hesitation.

The hosts are an amazing couple, very warm and always with a smile.
It is spotless clean, and the proprietors' effort to make it a lovely experience is obvious in every way.
It is a very old house, historical in a sense, that has been refurbished with care, without going over-the-top, decorated with traditional gusto, and the amenities are plentiful and modern.
10 minutes away on foot is the entrance to the castle, but prepare for a climb, as the town was built on a quite steep hill. There, you will enjoy a full panoramic view of the town and its surroundings.
The only issue, as with most old town centres worldwide, is parking spaces. But it is to be expected; towns back then didn't expect, nor were designed to accommodate our modern needs. Better park wherever you find a spot, before you reach the residence - or after.
