The person at the entrance didn't even say good afternoon. The prices from the shop a little bit expensive, not to much to visit and find out. A little bit of waste of time.

Very nice place worth to visit. Delicious jam from olives. Be careful of the sign on the road it is not very big and it's easy to miss.

A good chance to learn about the history of olive oil, not only in Thassos, but across the region. However, the museum itself could use some proper care and maintenance, both inside and out. The courtyard is meant to show various types of olive trees but it has fallen into neglect and disarray.

Small museum but has decent piece of history on olive tree varieties and olive oil extraction process. Worth visiting if you are olive oil lover. Entrance is 2€ and you get small soap made out of olive oil. They have extra virgin olive oil as well as Organic extra virgin olive oil that isn't treated with chemicals, and has much more intense taste(some would say a bit more bitter taste), hence the higher price for it, but it is worth the price as it goes really well with salads. You can sample-taste the difference between these two types of oil product in the museum, and see for your self which one you like more.

Friendly staff. Interesting history of olive oil production on the island. Gift shop has quality olive, oil, honey, soap and cream products at reasonable prices.

Unfortunately nobody was presenting or explaining the process of olive oil making. You pay the entrance fee and they let you in to see and read the description. Nothing more nothing less.

The museum provides interesting facts about olive production; the history and process of extracting the oil and of domesticating and farming these fruits. Also contains a great display of handmade lace and a gift shop well stocked with olive oil and olive oil-based products.

Small museum but with a lot of information: Some history of olives, pictures and real tools used to extract oil, olive varieties and area of development. Outside some tables and chairs to enjoy a caffe or soda. Free of charge museum. A little shop at the entrance. Accesibile for disable persons (elevator, entrance).
