A Fantastic place! A lot of people, but the experience to be there was fantastic!

Nice big open square with a fountain. We used it as the Hop on spot for our hop on/off bus pass for the city. Careful though, there are some sketchy streets close by. Best to ask someone who knows before walking, especially after dark.

The square itself is really lovely now. They had been working on it for years so it was nice to see it finished.

Quite a central part of Athens. Busy crossroad. Traffic is heavy after 11am till 7 or 8 pm. But there are pedestrian crossings/traffic lights for people walking. And the metro underground is also a safe way to cross this busy "roundabout". Fountain is a landmark for tourist staying in hotels surrounding this junction.

The renovations are pleasing especially in the festive season the lighting is amazing. Konstantinos argiros music video depics the beauty of omonoia in the night

I spent one night near here, the fountain is great, really beautiful and easy to take just great pictures. Square is quite big and there are many restaurants. Indeed streets near are messy and there are some people who do not look trustworthy or may be scary to some but I think its huge thing that even if it does not look any luxurious, nobody tries to disturb you, that is really important so I think its a safe place all in all and fountain is truly cool.

A nice roundabout with fountain in Athens just on the edge of what might be considered ‘tourist downtown.’ Hotels, shops, restaurants and cafes all around. The hop on hop off buses have a stop here and it’s a central hub for getting around with taxis, buses and the metro stop in the square. If you have no reason to be there otherwise though, I wouldn’t advise making this a tourist stop on your vacation.

Nice square to walk through. Lots of hotels and restaurants. Art piece reminded me if trapeze in a circus tent. Nice large fountain in the middle and there is subway access. Other than that, not much else to do. Its a large outdoor space.
