★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely fancier than other spots around but totally worth the money/hype. Really good food! We were lucky to visit in a big group, so we tried most things on the menu. And the desserts were exceptional, so save room!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent location, overlooking the port and the promenade, with a quiet side garden, the barman is competent and the cocktails are good. On the other hand, the waiters are inexperienced or badly trained and the service is scattered and at times irritating. Τhe food is really underwhelming and the menu has no logic behind it e.g. there are practically only salads as starters, the chef has a strange obsession with endives, adding them in several salads and mains (as side), the tuna and the picanha were cooked in the desired temperature (while last year, a liver and a steak were very dry) but in ridiculously small portions, and the desserts were subpar. Overall, a restaurant with mediocre (at best) and very expensive (or very low vfm) dishes.
The best hotel on the island deserves much better than this.

I dined there in July 2019 along with a friend. All the things we tried were very tasty and very well cooked. However, the food styling of the plates that were depicted in Google reviews was very different from the actual one. Maybe the restaurant has changed its direction from haute cuisine to a more rustic one. Apart from that, a very nice setting with professional staff and some very good finds in the wine list!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice place :) The first time I found in Greece a place with soya milk and had a decent cappuccino. They also had a couple of vegan options and I went for a penne with fried tomatoes with basil in tomato sauce and it was really tasty. Moreover, the service was excellent and the waiters spoke good English, which is not always like this, thus appreciated :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had dinner “On the Verandah” and it was overall a nice experience.
The location: on the front terrace of the Poseidon Grand Hotel, overlooking a big square with super yachts anchored just on the other side.
The atmosphere: pleasant and generally I would describe it as “relaxed upscale”.
The food: I had a starter, a main and a dessert à la carte. All were very well executed (aubergine in the oven, sea bass and “terrace flavors”). There was an effort for plating, although nothing too complicated. In terms of portions, it was just right for me (I’ll describe my appetite as average), I did not feel like I was still hungry after leaving or too full. The wine and cocktails menu have a few gems hidden inside (like the whiskey-goat cheese that caught my attention).
The service: maybe here a little room for improvement. It was a bit slow for my taste, I was wondering at some point if they had forgotten me when I ordered a tea pot. I also requested a blanket as the night went on and temperatures chilled, sadly I had to request it twice. Because it was not high season yet, I wonder how it is when the season is in full swing.
The price: more expensive as per the location and upscale market positioning, yet reasonable in regards of the ingredient quality and recipes in my opinion.
