Fabulous hotel with a great position right by the sea. Very friendly and helpful staff especially at the beach bar/restaurant. We’ve been 4 times now and I’ll definitely be going again in the near future.

It's got a good location just off the port and beautiful views. The hotel staff were friendly. Unfortunately the rooms are very dated and it feels like a hostel room. The beds were very small too. Otherwise an okay budget stay.

Not a recommended hotel! We had booked for 2 weeks, and we stayed 2 nights! nowhere in the world this Hotel is 4* Firstly, - The rooms are as basic as it would be possible, mattresses are thin and old. Decor is depressing as a nursing home. - Food is ridiculous, first thing I order in the morning a simple Cheese Toast, it would've been better just crossing the street buying packaged bread and cheese and do it myself because the quality of the products would've been better, clearly bottom shelf bread, potato chips and cheese. - The breakfast Menu is what you expect of breakfast in an airplane 10 years ago! - Secondly, the hotel staff has no training, english is barely fonctional, and no help at all in any case. My wife has a broken feet, when we checked in nobody in the staff (6 people in the entrance hall) even flinched to help whatsoever. Thirdly, as surprising as it could be their main feature which is having sun beds over the sea is a terrible experience. Hotel guests wake up early to leave towels on the sun beds all day "just in case" they want to go at some point. The worst about it is that this behaviour is promoted by the hotel staff! When observing from the balcony that there were 4 pairs of sun beds unused for the last 2/3 hours, I went to ask to use them (my wife has a broken feet!) The staff made no effort and said they are taken because they have "stuff" in it. Forthly, it is 2020, the hotel has a terrible internet connection and wifi, it disconectes every device within 10-15min, and speed it comes and goes, making it very very hard to use. Clearly a place that still exists only and exclusively on their location and the past, the owners and managers are literally "milking the cow" to the bone on this one. Do not recommend in any case.

Great spot and hotel. A bit of a walk from town but not far. Little shops and restaurants right there. Close to Kaiki Beach. Terrific views. The beach setting is perfect. Friendly staff

the receptionist girl was helpful. the included breakfast was very bad. did not include anything of value. so we had to order extras like feta cheese and cold espresso frappe and they would charge us for this and pay extra every day. Everyone, all staff was extremely helpful and polite ( girl at the reception) with the exception of mr Athineos who was rude, loud, not helpful, and aggressive with both me and my wife. Details: Next day we arrived, we went down to the reception. Mr Athineos was there. we asked if he could help us call a PCR testing office. his reply was dry and said you call yourself and here is the phone. we said but we do not know the place and they don't speak english there. he said everyone knows this office and it is your call and left us all alone. when my wife asked him why is he not being helpful , he fired back saying why are you shouting? so my wife told him you are the one not helpful and you are the one being aggressive with us for no reason! so we left and wished we never have to deal with this man again!. in fact he should not be in this job where his attitude reflects badly on the good service from the rest of his hotel staff.

Certainly not a 4 star hotel. View is good from lobby only, otherwise you have a view on the neighbors trash cans. « private beach » is not a beach, beds on concrete floor, no sense of a beach at all (no sand with « waves »), only direct plunge into water from the concrete floor. Service is not at a high standard, no helping for suitcases, looked like no room service. Room is the worst, very old, clean but everything is just so old. Only one plug in the whole room. Shower is very low-cost, no pressure in the shower and the shower head is like 3 cm wide. AC takes 100 years to take effect, could not even see the see from my room ! Beds are very very very hard and uncomfortable. I wouldn’t make this comment if I was in a 3 star hotel, but I am just shocked and I intrigued about how it has 4 stars…. For those of you who are looking for a similar price hotel but an actual 4* experience, go to Zoe’s Club, which has a fantastic pool (no pool at Spetses hotel), and beautiful rooms. The beach/sea is 1 min walk away, and you will have actual sand, for free !

Best Hotel in the area! Extremely clean, nice view and location, wonderful beaches in walking distance, walking distance to downtown, excellent breakfast and very warm , kind and friendly people, always smiling. The rooms are very well maintained, painted every year and have a smell of freshness. They have also very nice villas for rent.
