Έχοντας όμως ταξιδέψει σε κάποιες χώρες που δεν χρησιμοποιούν το ευρώ ( Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, Ιορδανία, Ιαπωνία,Πολωνία, Ουγγαρία, Ουκρανία κ.α), έχω διαπιστώσει οτι συμφέρουν σε όλες τις περιπτώσεις τα ανταλλακτήρια χρημάτων που βρίσκονται στο κέντρο των πόλεων που επισκέφθηκα. Είτε γιατί έχουν καλύτερη ισοτιμία από αυτή του ανταλλακτηρίου του αεροδρομίου, είτε επειδή έχουν μικρότερη, ή καθόλου προμήθεια. Οπότε γενικά προτιμώ να αλλάζω χρήματα στον εκάστοτε προορισμό του ταξιδιού μου. Ωστόσο έχω τη συνήθεια να αλλάζω ένα μικρό ποσό στο αεροδρόμιο Αθηνών, της τάξης 50 -100 ευρώ, για τα πρώτα μου έξοδα και μέχρι να αλλάξω χρήματα στον προορισμό μου. Αυτό γίνεται εν γνώση μου οτι χάνω λίγα χρηματα, αλλά για σιγουριά μήπως τύχει και πάω κάπου που δεν δέχονται κάρτες ειδικά σε χώρες που δεν είναι τόσο διαδεδομένη η χρήση καρτών. Όλα καλά μέχρι εδώ. Τις τελευταίες μου επισκέψεις στο ανταλλακτήριο του αεροδρομίου έχω βρεθεί αντιμέτωπος με την ειρωνία του εκάστοτε υπαλλήλου (οπότε μάλλον είναι πολιτική της εταιρείας). Ξεκινάει με την ειρωνική ερώτηση : Αυτά είναι τα χρήματα που θα χρειαστείτε για όλο σας το ταξίδι? Ναι ρε μάγκα θα τη βγάλω με 50 ευρώ μια βδομάδα έχεις πρόβλημα ... αυτό θα απαντήσω την επόμενη φορά. Δηλαδή πόσο αδιάκριτη ερώτηση? Προφανώς το λένε για να σε προτρέψουν να αλλάξεις περισσότερα χρήματα έως και το σύνολο του ποσού που έχεις σκοπό να ξοδέψεις, για να βγάλουν κέρδος. Αυτό είναι θεμιτό. Δεν είναι θεμιτό όμως να ειρωνεύονται με αυτή την σπαστική ερώτηση. Και μετά αν τους πεις , ευχαριστώ θα αλλάξω μόνο αυτό το ποσό εδω και τα υπόλοιπα στον προορισμό μου, με ειρωνικό ύφος προσπαθούν να σε πείσουν λες και ανηκουν σε αίρεση, οτι έχεις άδικο και εκείνοι ξέρουν καλύτερα και γνωρίζουν τις διεθνής ισοτιμίες, και σε συμφέρει να αλλάξεις εκεί. Μια απλή ενημέρωση αρκεί, δεν χρειάζεται αυτό το υφάκι απο άτομά που απορώ αν έχουν ταξιδέψει πουθενά και το παίζουν ειδήμονες. Μια φορά έτυχε μια κυρία μπροστά μου να αλλάξει χίλια ευρώ σε στερλίνες, και την πίεζαν ... αυτό είναι όλο το ποσό που θα ξοδέψετε; μα εδώ ειναι καλυτερη ισοτιμία μπλα μπλα μπλα. Λυπάμαι που γράφω τόσο μεγάλη κριτική και ίσως κάποιος που τη διαβάσει να πει , οτι αυτο που με ενοχλεί δεν ειναι σπουδαίο πράγμα. Ωστόσο, την επόμενη φορά ελπίζω να δεχτούν το ταπεινό μου 100άρικο , να με ενημερώσουν φυσικά για τις υπηρεσίες τους αλλά μέχρι εκεί, γιατί ξέρω βα ειρωνεύομαι καλύτερα και περισσότερο και μπορω να το αποδείξω.... But having traveled to some countries that do not use the euro (United Kingdom, Jordan, Japan, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine, etc.), I have found that the money exchanges located in the center of the cities I visited are in every case. Either because they have a better exchange rate than the airport exchange, or because they have a lower or no commission. So overall I prefer to change money at the destination of my trip. However, I have the habit of changing a small amount at the Athens airport, 50-100 euros, for my first expenses and until I change money at my destination. This comes to my mind that I am losing some money, but for sure I am lucky enough to go somewhere that does not accept cards especially in countries where card usage is not so widespread. All good so far. During my recent visits to the airport exchange I have been confronted with the irony of each employee (so it is probably company policy). It starts with the ironic question: Is this the money you will need for your entire trip? Yes dude i will make it with 50 euro a week you have a problem ... i will answer this next time. That is, how indistinct a question? Obviously they say it to get you to make more money up to the total amount you are going to spend to make a profit. This is legitimate. But it is not legitimate to ironicize this spatious question. And then if you tell them, thank you I will only change this amount here and the rest at my destination, in an ironic way trying to convince you as if they belong to a sect, that you are wrong and they know better and know the international exchange rates, and it is in your interest to change there. Just a brief update is enough, no need for this reef from people who wonder if they have traveled anywhere and played it by experts. One time there was a lady in front of me converting a thousand euros into pounds, and they were pushing her ... is that all you are going to spend? but here's a better rate blah blah blah. I'm sorry to write so much criticism and maybe someone who reads it to say that what is bothering me is not a great thing. However, next time I hope they accept my humble 100k, of course inform me of their services but up there, because I know I am getting better and more and I can prove it ....
