The room was small and with no windows. After a bath, the atmosphere inside the small 4 walls of this firewood warehouse/room was suffocating. We discussed this with the manager; he said it's our 'personal opinion' that the room is small and unfit, and that others find it cozy and warm. We asked for a change to a room with a window (any room with window); manager said it would be 25% up for a SUNDAY to MONDAY stay in an empty hotel. We thanked, had a bath at the 6 by 3 meters (20 by 10 feet) pool-trough. We slept the first night, woke up had breakfast and left (a day early). The breakfast was good. Yogurt with grape jam was EXQUISITE. Jams in general get this review 2nd star. Note: This review is for Opora Country Room I. Other rooms may be better Another note: The hotel is very instagrammable. I felt suffocating but if I were to take any pictures, they would be great. Decoration is very cool.

We had a wonderful time at Opora Country Living. We stayed at the Master Country Living House. Its architecture blended perfectly with the olive grove and fruit orchard. The house was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. It included everything we needed for our stay. The owners and staff were very warm, kind and welcoming; we instantly felt part of their life there. Even though it was a working farm, they were always respectful and accommodating to all guests. Breakfast was the highlight of our day; it was served on our porch, and it included a wide variety of nutritious homemade foods, most of which were produced from the orchard. We decided not to use a car during our stay, and opted to spend our days by the pool or hiking around the beautiful countryside around the property. Via Opora, we also arranged a taxi transfer to Tolo, where we went on a day trip visit to Hydra and Spetses. The nearest village was a half hour walk from the property and had some lovely tavernas. For our nights in, Opora also offered a menu service with mediterranean dishes served in the comfort of our property. We were really impressed with the quality and range of options on offer, including lots of traditional greek dishes with a modern twist. We would highly recommend Opora Country Living and we look forward to visiting again soon. A warm thank you to the Markidis family for hosting us and for their kindness and friendship.

Can’t recommend this accommodation enough. The owners Mrs Dina & Mikelis along with their son Konstantinos went the extra mile to make us feel so comfortable. The staff were fantastic in every way. Surrounded by olive & orange trees lavender & scented flowers that we hope one day to return to. This is a gem of a place that was hard to leave.
