Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat - Pirgiotika

Wonderful boutique hotel. The setting was gorgeous and quiet. The staff was so accommodating and helpful. The hotel itself was pristine and comfortable. The location is close to Mycenae and Nafplion.

Staying here for 3 nights. This is my second night. The bathroom was completely filled with ants, they tried to fix it but the ants came back the next day. They charge for a cup of cuppocinno 3.5 euro. Overpriced by any means. Other rooms had a duvet for the bed, ours didnt have. They gave us a thin blanket and the room was cold at nights. They said they dont have any extra duvets and the one that was in our room was sent to cleaning before our arrive. Very poor experience, wouldnt recommend the place.

Our second time at this beautiful boutique hotel and it never disappoints. The rooms are big, clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is friendly, hospitable and engaging. It’s nestled in orange groves at the top of a hill with views of the hills and the sea. Great food and clean pool. Lesson learned, book early or else you won’t get a reservation at this exclusive place. It’s a 15 minute drive to Nafplio which is not to be missed for its history and art and great restaurants.

This was my best experience of a hotel in Greece. From the moment we arrived, to the moment the man at reception gave us a pot of their homemade fig jam upon departure, every member of staff we encountered was smiling and solicitous, without ever being intrusive. The hotel is not the cheapest in the area, but it's absolutely worth a few extra euros. The room was very nice, the bed really comfortable. The shower was fantastic. Each room has its own verandah or balcony overlooking the pool, the valley below, and then the sea. We didn't have dinner here, but lunch was extremely tasty and very good value. As we'd booked directly with the hotel we were offered a complimentary cocktail, which we had in the casual and comfortable bar area. It's in a quiet location, off the beaten track, nestled in the olive and orange groves. You need your own transport. After one night we feel well-rested and relaxed. We left with smiles on our faces, and look forward to going back.

We would like to say a big thank you to Alexandros for your understanding to let us cancel our booking without any fee. We were so looking forward to our trip to Greece and staying at your hotel to unwind and relax. Unfortunately due to lockdown our plans had to change. We had made a non-refundable reservation and had thought it would be difficult to get our booking (partially) refunded. However the friendly management showed their true kindness and offered us a full refund. This hospitality reached well beyond our expectations and we are sure that this just shows how we would have been in for a treat at this exquisite hotel. We can’t show you enough our gratitude for your flexibility and understanding. We hope this will all pass soon so we can go ahead and plan our visit to Greece and without a doubt we will be coming to your oasis of relaxation. A great place to relax and recharge. It offers a traditional Greek breakfast buffet, lunch and gourmet dinning, matched with the spacious and luxurious rooms and a XL not crowded pool. The personnel is very friendly and professional watching every detail from the warm welcome to the daily cleaning and care. Looking forward for another staying and trying once more the calamari dish.

The perfect getaway in a marvellous scenery! Incredible great hospitality. Charming and classy retreat hotel close to Nafplion. All the comfort you need. Excellent diner opportunity at the farm to table restaurant in the hotel. The staff members do every effort to make the stay as perfect as possible! Definitely the place to be when visiting Nafplion, epidavros or mycene...

We stayed in Perivoli for 2 nights. Super clean and comfortable rooms and accommodation. The staff was very polite and helpful! The breakfast was good with international and local food offered, and almost everything used in the kitchen comes from the hotel's vegetable and fruit garden. The rooms and the pool have very nice view. The hotel is located about 10-15 minutes away from the city of Nafplio so you absolutely need a car, but they can also help with getting a taxi. It's also rather close to the Ancient Theater of Epidavros that is also worth a visit (~25 minutes by car). Even though it's not in the centre, the view, the tranquility of the area and the hotel itself made the stay very enjoyable and I will definitely try to visit again!
