However service (except the gentleman behind the bar) is appalling, the food also did not meet our expectations: break was average, portions served in sloppy manner and octopus super chewy. The check value was quite London style but it did not match the quality. I would say coffee or cocktail - Big Yes, food no, and don’t expect to be served properly. I raised the issue with the staff manager and the only reply I received is “really?”… no comment.

Starters came before our drinks, mains came before starters cleared and then we waited around 45 mins for table to be cleared. We were not offered any additional drinks in this time and left VERY thirsty. Would go back as the food was genuinely great and there is potential for excellence.

The prices are high for the island, but in international standard, with this quality and cleanliness ok. The cocktail menu is not the usual tourist nonsense but well thought out. A little unbalanced, but that may have been the way things were on the day. The food was good and tasty. Why one star less? The waiters were not really interested and if they were, then only at tables that really let it bang. We wanted a table that was reserved - ok - but it wasn't occupied for two hours. It is what it is.

The drinks were excellently made and the food was delicious. The restaurant looked fantastic with a great vibe which is made even better by the friendly team.
w	will mceuen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible service, beautiful set up where modern meets ancient. Food was incredible including my first time eating grilled octopus which is so good. Server was very attentive and team overall was very polite. It was a rainy cold day so sitting us next to fire place was an added bonus to gorgeous view. Hope to visit again. There were some high end pricing items on menu but could also eat on a budget with plenty to choose from. This is a must stop on way to caves or shipwreck. Something for everyone.
