★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 14 Σεπτεμβρίου ανάβαση είναι η μέρα του Τίμιου Σταυρού. Περίπου 50 λεπτά η ανάβαση, βατή αλλά θέλει προσοχή. Άνετο πάρκινγκ αλλά μην πάτε με το αμάξι ως το τέλος γιατί δεν θα μπορείτε να στρίψετε. Περπατήστε 3 λεπτά παραπάνω και αφήστε το αμάξι στην ανοιχτάδα.
 September 14 ascent is the day of the Holy Cross. About 50 minutes the climb, passable but requires attention. Comfortable parking but do not go by car to the end because you will not be able to turn. Walk 3 minutes more and leave the car in the open.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ομορφη διαδρομη ξεκινωντας απο το Ηρακλειο, μεσω της παλιας Εθνικης, περνας απο το Βουλισμενο Αλωνι και συνεχιζεις για λιγα χιλιομετρα παρακατω. Για οσους αγαπουν τα ορεινα και επιπεδα τοπια ειναι μια πολυ καλη ευκαιρια, κοντα στο Ηρακλειο
Beautiful route starting from Heraklion, through the old Ethniki, you pass through Voulismeno Aloni and you continue for a few kilometers below. For those who love mountainous and flat landscapes it is a very good opportunity, close to Heraklion

A wonderful place next to the city of Heraklion. Easy access by car to a point where the hiking starts and takes about 40 minutes to the top of the mountain and to the church of Timios Stavros
