★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We always come here when we visit lasithi plateau. You just order beer or raki and then you leave the landlord to bring you the rest. When you feel full you may tell him (even in body language if you don't speak greek) to stop bringing you more food! Delicious cretan tastes all the year round!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hosts are simply amazing. You should definitely eat here if you're visiting the village, since the other tavernas a couple of minutes away are such tourist traps. There's no menu, the host serves you what he has in the kitchen . But the food is absolutely delicious, authentic and local! Everything is clearly fresh. The most authentic place we visited during our 10 day stay. Plus, it's dirt cheap! And of course, the host gives you free raki and fruit salads at the end of the meal

surprises with new food dishes served by the owner. All of ingredients seems to be taken from their garden, fresh and delicious. Obligatory toast with the owner. You will not get this kind of experience in Crete tourist cities or hotels! You should stop here while Lasshity trip!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just surprisingly excellent. Friendly owner, local food (no menu), fresh ingredients and a real atmosphere of a traditional Cretan "kafeneio" (mixed tavern & coffee place). No need to comment more...You should definitely try this and in case you are not satisfied drop me a message and I'll pay your bill :)
