J	James Nianias on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice atmosphere. Yes, it is touristic, but in a good way. If you are a visitor in Athens this is a nice way to experience authentic local culture. We had fava, Greek salad, kalamari, and sweet red wine. The price is high, as you might expect from a scenic neighborhood so close to the acropolis, but ultimately worth it. The music was also good, playing all the classic rempetiko songs with skill.

What got my attention was the main waiter getting in the middle of restaurant every 30 minutes encouraging people to shout "Opa!", which is supposed to be some Greek word for expressing happiness, in this case. That was really cheerful.

The waiter was efficient and friendly. He gave us desserts on the house. Food - 4/5 Service - 5/5 Ambience - 4/5 Toilet - 1/5 ( Very smelly, wet, no tissue, not clean)

The restaurant appears to be a collective of three restaurants, all being served from the same kitchen from what I could gather, so expect service to be a bit slow. The music was fine, the food and wine good, but a bit over priced. We still had a very nice evening and for the ambience, it is probably worth a visit.
