★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Greek Orthodox Church of Panachrantos (or “Panachra”, for short) is a 17th century post-Byzantine church in the old town (Χώρα) of Mykonos. It is under the ecclesiastical supervision of the Diocese of Syros, and unlike the typical blue domes of the Cyclades, Panachra has a red roof…although this is not terribly uncommon in Mykonos or other islands, it is still interesting nonetheless.
A nice thing about Panachra is that it has small two windows without glass, so you can see the interior even if the main entrance is closed.
