★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice church for a Instagram photo background. I have never seen any of these churches open. They're probably there for decorative purposes or no longer in use. Nonetheless, I highly recommend visiting them. They're so pretty to look at!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly, this is a pretty unimpressive site. By the 14th century, many nicer looking and more impressive structures have been built. Not worth the walk IMO

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous architecture. Beautiful walks throughout the town winding past the white churches. It was a wondeful and fun town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Charming church where sunset could be a delight. It’s a picturesque spot with ample amount of hidden treasures. It might get a lot crowded during evenings but there is a lot of space to sit and chill.
The walk to this place is just around the corner and it’s a lot less noisy than the little Venice part of the town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Church complex is set between the Old port and Little Venice when walking this way along the sea (you'll miss it if you take the shortcut through the winding alleys inland).
Paraportiani Church complex consists of 5 churches built one above other or next to another in a small area by the sea. It dates back to the 14th century and was consequently enlarged.
Throughout the complex are interesting plaques explaining the history and photos of 20 c Mykonos when it was a normal ordinary village, not a jet set place, which I found very interesting

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely lovely church especially around sunset. I read this is one of the most photographed churches not only in Mykonos but the world! Is along the seafront just near the Kastro neighbouhood.
It is a church that consists of 5 smaller churches built on top and next to each other over a long period of time. The church of Agios Efstathios is the center of this complex, surrounded by the churches of Agios Anargyros, Agios Sozon, and Agia Anastasia. On top of these four churches, there is the church of the Virgin Mary, which looks like a dome.
Such a beautiful church and area at sunset, and a fair number of people around as a result, but still very worth while seeing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing place to chill and relax with the beautiful view. The place is less crowded during the afternoon but during sunsets and evenings its very crowded unlike the other town little Venice. Make sure u use the longer way of the old port road and avoid the aisles to get to this place.
Recommend to visit here during sunsets. Couldn't make it up for one due to other commitments but would definitely plan for one in the near future.
