★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πολυ ομορφο τοπιο με υπεραιωνοβια πλατανια απο την εποχη του Μενελαου. Στην ακρη υπαρχει ενα πετρινο εκκλησακι της Παναγιας και μια πηγη με πολυ κσλο και δροσερο νερο.
 Very beautiful landscape with perennial plane trees from the time of Menelaos. On the edge there is a stone chapel of Panagia and a spring with lots of water and cool water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πλάτανοι 2500 ετών φυτεμενοι από τον βασιλιά της Σπάρτης Μενέλαο. Αξίζει να το δείτε. Εκεί υπάρχει το μικρό εκκλησάκι της Παναγίας στη θέση που υπήρχε το Ιερό της Αρτέμιδος.
2500-year-old plane trees planted by the king of Sparta Menelaos. It is worth seeing. There is the small church of Our Lady in the place where the Sanctuary of Artemis existed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Für Arboristen und Freunde ungewöhnlicher Bäume ein toller Ort! Die drei Platanen sind innen praktisch hohl, aber absolut standfest. Die Umgebung ist gigantisch und der Ort Kariés sonnig und freundlich. Die Region Arcadia ist überhaupt ein Traumspot für Naturliebhaber.
A great place for arborists and friends of unusual trees! The three plane trees are practically hollow on the inside, but absolutely stable. The surroundings are gigantic and the place Kariés is sunny and friendly. The Arcadia region is a dream spot for nature lovers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Υπέροχο μέρος, μέσα στη φύση. Τα πλατάνια είναι τεράστια και αποτελούν ενα σπάνιο αξιοθέατο. Αξιζει να καθίσει κάποιος λιγη ώρα και να ηρεμησει στο μέρος αυτό!
Wonderful place, in nature. The plane trees are huge and are a rare attraction. It's worth sitting for a while and relaxing in this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this area that is filled with chestnut and walnut trees. However, what moves the interest is 4 plane trees.Their age has not been accurately determined until today, however according to the legend and the traveler Pausanias, they were planted by Menelaus himself, around 1100 BC. I would suggest visiting the area in the spring where the gray landscape I saw (February 2022) is transformed into greenery.
