★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Directions to find it from Myrtos, cross the Myrtos bridge and immediately turn left at the sign for the ruins, park immediately on the right. Follow a rough path where you have parked up the hill and across a small olive grove. Continue up the path. Interesting ruins with shards of pottery everywhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Open Minoan site of Pyrgos a short walk / scramble up the hill. 10 minutes to the top, but you'll need good grip on your shoes.
On top you can wander among the ruins and enjoy the view. Stunning!
