★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't be objective, since I have a house here and I have fond memories of the place. It is definitely the most touristy place of northeastern Pelion and the most organized in terms of services (food, accommodation etc.). The tourists here tend to be families, therefore I wouldn't recommend the place to people who are looking to party. I should note that, because of its popularity, it's probably the most expensive place in northeastern Pelion. As far as the beach is concerned, there are parts where you can simply put your umbrella. In other parts, there are umbrellas and chaises-longues for a fee. Personally, I prefer to go swimming in the nearby beaches of Plaka or Papa Nero.
