Made a booking and two months later, days before car is required, I'm told there's no availability. Terrible. I expect that when a form is submitted, if information is required, someone would contact me to confirm or decline. No proactive contact made. Would not reccommend.

To avoid ! Communication is very complicated and renter is rude. Never clear on prices (on purpose) and a single scratch on the car will cost you 300€ minum.

NIGHTMARE OF A RENTAL! Forced us to accept a prepaid worn out badly maintained car which felt unsafe. Kept us waiting for repairs. Categorically Refused cancellation. We wanted to walk away but we had reserved and fully prepaid on their website so they took advantage of that. It went wrong from the very start: When we arrived, they made us wait for 1 hour as the car we reserved was not available. No explanation. They wrote 'half full' gas on the contract, but it was almost empty, we had to come back to the agency again to make it right. After a few kilometers, it was so hot and we discovered the car's air conditioning was not working! Back to the rental agency again! They said we had to wait for an hour again for repair. Had to go to the garage for repairs, the air con gas was totally empty! Need to wait another hour. At that point our patience was really running out, It had been literally hours of waiting, hassle, losing time from our holiday, we simply wanted to cancel and rent from somewhere else which they kept categorically refusing. They still had no problem at all asking us to wait longer for the repair. But enough is enough, and we insisted on another car in good condition. After much talking and another 1/2 hour waiting they brought another car. The a/c was very weak. It was very old 116 479 km! It had sticker marks from its former life as a company car, and was very worn out. The brakes made strange noises and the gear shift handle was loose, which didn't feel very safe, also the doors wouldn't lock so it wasn't safe to leave anything in the car either. Thanks for all the hassle, we rent frequently and that was hands down the worst rental car experience ever and the worst most worn out car we ever rented Notos! Edit: I am not surprised at your reply. What were we to expect? an apology and a due compensation? Then we would have edited our review accordingly. But right, it's better to play dumb. Here's a memory refresher NOTOS: We're the couple with the 6 month pregnant woman to whom you SHAMELESSLY rented a VERY WORN OUT CAR with broken AC and you heartlessly left WAITING FOR HOURS, CATEGORICALLY REFUSING TO CANCEL THE RENTAL. That's what to be expected of shameless people, playing dumb, trying to slander the customer as 'anonymous' instead of regretting your behaviour, apologising, recognising one's mistakes and making a goodwill gesture. If this was an exceptional (chain of) 'mishaps' then you DEFINITELY know who we are without any need for signing, unless what we went through happens so routinely you can't even remember?? You're the ones being misleading bragging about 'excellent service', money refunds, and cancellation rights which you didn't respect. They're just words. And if that is what you consider to be high standards, then i just feel sorry for your customers! You're a JOKE!

Arranged pick up from ferry at 10pm. 45 min bevor that (we already were on the ferry) we received a message that they could not provide a car and that they could only provide a car the next day (supposedly, because someone smashed the window of the car, however i find it hard to believe that this happened 45min bevor the start of the pick up). When we asked for an alternative vehicle, we were told none were available. We therefore had to scramble in the middle of the night to find a car from a different agency. The entire behavior (also that the car would have needed to be paid in cash only) seems very unprofessional.

Not classifiable !! I am writing this review now, even if after 2 years: premise: rental cost about € 150 but are retained on the card as a "deductible" 300euro and it will be explained later why! I rent a car at notos car because of the competitive prices: but do not be fooled in the end what little more you would spend from another car rental will take it back all and with interest! A very shabby car is delivered to us, so much so that on the first or second day by pulling down the front passenger side window (manually) we hear a bang and we shorten when closing it again that it was no longer up: it was practically shattered in a thousand pieces inside the door !! and first car replacement. The scam (because I DARE to call it SCAM!) Arrives at the car sign on the last day: after having taken it back and having been viewed, I am called back on the phone, where they tell me that the driver's side car, on the bodywork near the fender had a knock (as if they had thrown a stone with a diameter of about 15cm!). So they come back to show it to me and I can assure you that that blow wasn't there when they pulled it back! the conclusion is that they obviously withheld all the deposit, telling me that they would take the car to be repaired and would give me the difference for the expense incurred by the mechanic: obviously after my several reminder e-mails for crediting the difference that money does not I have never seen again and the copy of the invoice of the machine that I had asked for was sent to me, it never arrived !!! BAD BAD BAD !!!
