β β β β β An overall very nice stay at Parthenis Hotel and Suites. The room was clean, spacious and had room cleaning every day. However the hotel isnβt generous in terms of vanity kit provision. The kitchenette is very minimally equipped, with no dish soap or sponge. The hotel has a very nice relaxing pool, and a lovely private beach with its bar. Staff was very nice.

β β β β β Great location, cozy rooms, sun loungers by the pool & beach for hotel guests are free, enough parking spaces, great value for money.

β β β β β We came here in April. We were a bit worried about coming to Malia as we were meeting friends, but wow.......what more could you ask for??? This was not what we expected, this is perfect for couples looking for a quiet romantic getaway. We had a fantastic room which was cleaned everyday. It was clean, light and airy. Bathroom, especially the shower, was amazing.
Beautiful pool area with mattresses to lay on, private beach with the same.
The staff couldnβt be friendlier, nothing was too much trouble, in fact we stayed an extra 2 nights.
Donβt think about it......book it!!

β β β β β A very relaxed family run place!
It is an apartment building with a fair sized pool (so children can have fun, no rules or closing time) and a beach restaurant (08:00 - 21:00). As the family also owns a restaurant in town (the most popular one, with good food) and a farm, all fruit and vegetables are very high-quality. There is no breakfast included rate. You either eat your own breakfast in your room or on your balcony or order a breakfast at the restaurant. Try the fruit platter as the fruit is always perfectly ripe and tastes great.
The rooms are already old, however the location right on the beach and the many large sun loungers (at the pool and on the beach, all with cushions, as compared to the many flimsy aluminum sun loungers of the other hotels around), day beds and sofas that allow you to relax make easily up for it (the beach towels are somewhat small though).
Another great thing is that several rooms have large enough balconies (with front or side sea-view) to also fit sun loungers. Thus, you can relax during any time of the day also on your balcony, read, enjoy the seaview or just chill. We definitely prefer that to a fancy room with only a small balcony, two chairs and no seaview.
The tricky thing is to choose the right apartment, as there are several different layouts (descriptions and photos online are not too good). All rooms come with a small kitchen. The best rooms are the junior suites (404, 405) on the first floor. 404 has two balconies, one with front seaview (table and 4 chairs) and another balcony with two sun loungers (with an extensive side seaview facing west). They come with a separate master bedroom (hey parents, with its own lockable door), two separate beds and a small kitchen. 405 is only facing the sea with one large balcony. The rooms are rather small.
On the second floor you will find one deluxe suite and one executive suite. Those suites very spacious. The executive suite has two king size beds. They are both facing the sea.
The king size beds are rather firm, whereas the single beds are rather soft.
A very good massage therapist also has its own small alcove. β¬50 for one hour. Highly recommend it!
Of course the weather was warm for the first week in August but thereβs always a breeze going, so itβs really very enjoyable. Also the evenings are very nice and not too hot or humid.
It being Covid season, the hotel was only 2/3 full. The hotels left and right of it were actually closed. Definitely call to make a booking and ask for a good price. We got a great deal!

β β β β β Simple but very nice! The staff is very friendly. We come here every year for at least a week. The Drossia restaurant, wich is from the same owners is GREAT! Good food and drinks!

β β β β β We have booked "Parthenis Beach, Suites by the Sea" (which is this hotel) through booking com. On arrival we were told that the room we booked is not available, no other room is availble, but we can stay in their sister hotel "Parthenis Hotel & Suites", which is not at all at the sea. IMO this is totally unacceptable, and cannot be compensated with four free cocktails... Hotel, pool and beach club looked nice, so might be a good experience if you get what you book.

β β β β β Really great hotel! The location is awesome, directly at the beach. The beach and the water there is super clean and beautiful. The pool is also nice. Great possibilities for relaxing in the sun. The bar serves drinks and snacks, which are delicious! The rooms are big and clean, with big balconies. And most importantly the staff is super (!!) friendly! We will definitely come back!
