D	Dimitrios Mavridis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tο σπίτι-μουσείο του μακεδονομάχου ήρωα Παύλου Μελά δωρήθηκε από την εγγονή του, Ναταλία Ιωαννίδη στο ΥΠΕΘΑ, τον Φεβρουάριο του 2020. Η ανακαίνιση πραγματοποιήθηκε, επίσης κατόπιν δωρεάς επιχειρηματία από τη Δράμα, σε χρόνο ρεκόρ για τα ελληνικά δεδομένα. Κατέστη επισκέψιμο από τις 13 Οκτωβρίου 2020, στην επέτειο του θανάτου του από τουρκικά πυρά, στο χωριό Στάτιστα (σήμερα Μελάς) της Καστοριάς, το 1904. Προτιμήστε επίσκεψη καθημερινή πχ Τετάρτες παρά Σαββατοκύριακα (χειμερινή περίοδος) που το επισκέπτονται σχολεία και σύλλογοι. Λόγω COVID, η επίσκεψη γίνεται κατόπιν τηλεφωνικής επικοινωνίας. Η ξενάγηση εξαιρετική από τον υπεύθυνο αξιωματικό που κάνει την ξενάγηση στους χώρους της οικίας. Είσοδος δωρεάν. The house-museum of the Macedonian hero Pavlos Melas was donated by his granddaughter, Natalia Ioannidis to the Ministry of the Interior, in February 2020. The renovation took place, also after a donation by a businessman from Drama, in record time for the Greek data. It became visitable from October 13, 2020, on the anniversary of his death by Turkish fire, in the village of Statista (today Melas) in Kastoria, in 1904. Prefer a daily visit eg Wednesdays rather than weekends (winter season) visited by schools and clubs. Due to COVID, the visit is made by telephone. The tour is excellent by the officer in charge of the tour of the premises. Admission free.

Τα προηγούμενα χρόνια πονούσα βλέποντας το σπίτι του ήρωα να καταρρέει χωρίς να κάνει κανείς κάτι. Είναι απερίγραπτα συγκινητικό πώς με την ανακαίνιση έγινε μεγάλη προσπάθεια να διατηρηθούν οι λεπτομέρειες έτσι όπως τις επέλεξε το ζεύγος Μελά. Λεπτομέρειες που σε κάνουν να ανακαλύψεις πίσω από τις προτομές, τα μετάλλια και τα τουφέκια, έναν άνθρωπο. Έναν άνθρωπο ευαίσθητο, νοικοκύρη, ανοιχτοκαρδο, που αγάπησε την Ελλάδα με όλο του το είναι. Θα ήθελα να ευχαριστήσω με όλη μου την καρδιά όλους όσοι συνέβαλαν στην ανακαίνιση της Οικίας Μελά, τους υπεύθυνους της ξενάγησης και ιδιαίτερα και ξεχωριστά την κυρία Ιωαννίδου Ν. για την υπέροχη κι ευγενική της φιλοξενία. I really have no words to describe what I experienced during my visit last month. In previous years I was in pain watching the hero's house collapse without anyone doing anything. It is indescribably moving how with the renovation a great effort was made to preserve the details as chosen by the Mela couple. Details that make you discover behind the busts, medals and rifles, a man. A sensitive man, housewife, open-hearted, who loved Greece with all his being. I would like to thank with all my heart all those who contributed to the renovation of Mela House, the people in charge of the tour and especially Mrs. Ioannidou N. for her wonderful and kind hospitality.

Επιτέλους ολοκληρώθηκε η αναστύλωση, ήταν πραγματικά ντροπή για όλους να ρημάζει αυτό το σπίτι.Αρκετα "ταπεινό" σε σχέση με τα γύρω επιβλητικά αρχοντικά, με ιδιαίτερη αρχιτεκτονική, αξίζει να το επισκεφτεί κανείς είτε μεμονωμένα, είτε στα πλαίσια οργανωμένων ξεναγήσεων που γίνονται κατά διαστήματα It is worth a visit to the country house of Pavlos Melas, a tribute to this great Greek fighter. The renovation was finally completed, it was a real shame for everyone to demolish this house. Quite "humble" in relation to the surrounding imposing mansions, with special architecture, it is worth visiting either individually or as part of organized guided tours that take place from time to time.
