Place is okay, prices are pretty good but when I received the bill there was added 3 euros for bread that was NOT ordered by me. The waitress brought it herself without informing about the cost. It made a very bad impression on me. I'd rather tip the service than be charged with a cost I didn't want to pay.

A real slice of Corfu village life, run by a local family. As we ate, the owners baby played with grandparents on the next table. Children ran around outside and the older residents chatted and promenaded down the main street. A reminder of life before the internet and mobile phones. A traffic snarl built up at one point and the owner went out and directed the cars down the narrow street . 5 stars for ambience and experience. Worth a visit just to soak that in. The food was average, The sofrito is our recommendation, my pizza was a little burnt and the Moussaka was not hot (beige and tepid apparently) but we loved it for the village scene and a reminder of how life was in our youth.

A lovely spot! We had Freddo coffees, aubergine salad and saganaki. It was so delicious that we cleaned the plate haha

Following a recommendation of a local, we stopped by for dinner. Not completely what we were looking for (still more of a tourist oriented instead of a local tavern), but the food was still good and the staff was very friendly.

Cute village taverna far from the tourist crowds. Huge portions, nicely seasoned meat and fresh salads. Order "pikilia kreatikon'' and you won't be disappointed.

Gob-smacking top-notch … everything. The fish. The squid. The wine. The service. I’m thinking of moving here and giving up on my waist line just to have this experience all the time. If you’re lucky, you’ll vaguely know what you want, then the owner will tell you what you need. And he’s never wrong. The food will wobble your soul.

the lady that served the dinner was nice although all the Tavernas are opened on Google, if you go there they will say they are not ready yet. People are coming later to eat not at 6pm. The food was good and the portions quite big, compared to the ones we received in other famous locations in Agios Gordios. The comments below are true: they invoice the bread with 3€ although eating Sofrito and Pastitsada you don't need any bread at all as the plates are big. Such a pity to the overall impression. How can you leave more tips when you see that? This is not Greek hospitality, it's a way to rip you off. Looks like Corona made all of us more individualists.
