★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This park is nice, it's close to the city centre, it is in a generally good condition trimmed trees and bushes, grass nice and neat. On the downside the murky waters seem a bit off -the turtles don't seem to mind that- the playground is good and spacious but there are not enough trees to cast shadow so it gets extremely hot. The coffee shop is too expensive, for a self service place it doesn't make any sense (4 euros for a cappuccino... ????). If you want coffee it's more sensible to buy one from a takeaway place and carry it with you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a wonderful park in the middle of Thessaloniki. You can leave children play free. Its a perfect place to make a picnic. It has a little park for little childrens. There is a coffe place and they also make great snacks. I loved that park. Its an amazing place to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for kids to play, with lot of green and in the heart of the city. The Fontaine and the café within its premises are an asset. Bit limited in space though. Especially the playground in the park. Parking also is a challenge, if one chooses to drive there. Not enough shade is also a minus, that I have come to realize that is a rather common pattern in most playgrounds around the city. Something should be done about it.
