★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Είχα ακούσει εδώ και χρόνια για την υπέροχη δουλειά που γίνεται στη γη του Πελιτη αλλά μόλις φέτος κατάφερα να επισκεφτώ το χώρο, κατά την διάρκεια της 22ης Γιορτής Σπόρων (30/4/2022). Πραγματικά εντυπωσιάστηκα από τη μεγάλη προσέλευση του κόσμου. Ήταν μια αληθινή γιορτή που συμπεριλαμβάνε έκτος από ανταλλαγή παραδοσιακών σπόρων, ζωντανή μουσική, φαγητό και καταπληκτική ατμόσφαιρα, έναν μποέμικο αέρα που ειλικρινά λάτρεψα. Την επόμενη φορά θα φροντίσω να φέρω μαζί μου την κουβέρτα του πικ Νικ για να καθίσω κι εγώ στο γρασίδι και να απολαύσω το πάρτυ. Φεύγοντας πήρα μαζί μου τους σπόρους που μας πρόσφεραν, τους οποίους μοιράστεικα με τους φίλους μου κι έτσι κατάφερα να επιστρέψω σπίτι με περισσότερες από 4 ποικιλίες που έπρεπε να πάρουμε για να φτάσουν τα αποθέματα για όλους τους επισκέπτες. Σήμερα Πρωτομαγιά τους έσπειρα στο μικρό μου σπορείο κι εύχομαι σύντομα να ξεπροβάλλουν τα πρώτα βλαστάρια.
Η μόνη παρατήρηση που θα μπορούσα να κάνω είναι ότι στους σπόρους που είχαν σε βάζα θα έπρεπε τουλάχιστον να γράφουν επάνω το φυτό από το οποίο προερχόταν.
I had heard for years about the wonderful work done in the land of Pelitis but only this year I managed to visit the place, during the 22nd Seed Festival (30/4/2022). I was really impressed by the large turnout. It was a real celebration that included in addition to the exchange of traditional seeds, live music, food and amazing atmosphere, a bohemian air that I sincerely loved. Next time I'm going to bring the pick of Nick's blanket with me so I can sit on the grass and enjoy the party. Leaving I took with me the seeds they offered us, which I shared with my friends and so I managed to return home with more than 4 varieties that we had to take to reach the stocks for all visitors. Today, May Day, I sowed them in my small bed and I hope that the first sprouts will appear soon.
The only observation I could make was that in the seeds they had in jars they should at least write on the plant from which it came.
