T	Taniolap on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Κατασκευασμένο μέσα σε λίγους μήνες, το 1204 από τους Φράγκους Σταυροφόρους της Δ' Σταυροφορίας, με σκοπό να καταλάβουν το αντικρινό μεγάλο και επιβλητικό Κάστρο του Ακροκορίνθου. Ένα χρόνο μετά την αυτοκτονία του Δεσπότη του Ακροκορίνθου Λέοντα Σγουρού, εξ αιτίας της στενής πολιορκίας, το μεγάλο Κάστρο έπεσε τελικά στα χέρια των Φράγκων το 1209 κι έτσι ολοκληρώθηκε η Φραγκοκρατία στον Ελλαδικό χώρο. Εύκολα προσβάσιμο, μετά από εικοσάλεπτη ανάβαση σε άνετο μονοπάτι και το "Μοντ Εσκουβέ" κατακτήθηκε! Built within a few months, in 1204 by the Frankish Crusaders of the Fourth Crusade, in order to occupy the large and imposing Castle of Acrocorinth. A year after the suicide of the Despot of Acrocorinth Leontas Sgouros, due to the close siege, the great Castle finally fell into the hands of the Franks in 1209 and thus ended the Frankish rule in Greece. Easily accessible, after twenty minutes of climbing on a comfortable path and the "Mont Escouve" was conquered!

A	Alin Zaharia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not much left of it, except a few walls. Great views, especially if you're there at sunset. Only around 30 minutes from the main road. The trail can be quite tricky to follow once you get past the olive trees and the abandoned buildings. We went slightly left and ended up on a very poorly maintained path, filled up with spiky vegetation. From up top we noticed the main path was actualy to the right and indeed it was much better coming down.
