★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place to eat. We called in for a drink on our first day, and went back on the second day for a light lunch. Great choice of local produce, delicious cheese and I can recommend the spinach and green vegetable pie. Lovely crisp pastry and tasty veg!! Polite, friendly and helpful waiter. Hugh recommended.

I've been a customer of Peri Tinos for many years (since it was opened) and what is great about this restaurant is that it can please even the most demanding pallet. Meat, Fish or Pasta.... whatever your choice is you will get pleased. Don't hesitate to go beyond your comfort zone and try more.

-not enough staff so the main dish was one hour late,
-we were charged for water and 3 slices of bread where everywhere in Greece these are free.
-We were asked casually if everything was OK, we noted that the food was a little late and we got no response? a little embarrassing.
-Also no after dinner "treat" like all the other restaurants offer (ex. A shot of liquer, a piece of fruit, a tiny dessert ot smth )
Especially after we said that everything was NOT so ok.
Maybe it was a bad day.. for us too, though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little restaurant right on the παραλία. There for lunch. Wide seafood choices, some local favorites. Fresh fish choices (varies daily). Wine list has many Greek choices and a couple of local wines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you pass by Syros you should definitely visit this temple of greek gastronomy. Peri...Tinos is the perfect antidote for those "all in one" touristic taverns that pop up like mushrooms near island ports. Prices might seem a bit inflated at first sight, but the "MasterChef" level dishes will definitely pay you back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor meal. Starters: Tasteless fava bean gloop and bao buns that were barely edible.
A passable orzo risotto for main course and shrimp that were unpleasant.
They gave us a complimentary dessert which was inedible- being several days old.
The service was terrible- the waiters talking to their friends outside rather than attending to the handful of customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely atmosphere right by the water, and has seating on a gorgeous shady street out the back too. Excellent authentic fava and boiled greens! A little pricey but not as bad as other places on the water nearby.
