★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the real deal Italian diner. Pizza and all its sides and salads, as good God intended them to be.
I've been longing for a decent pizzeria to open in my town and at last it has.
And as with every Italian restaurant, it's the simplest plates that betray the quality. Try the garlic bread and Pizza Margherita.
Prices are good, rather cheap i'd say, especially considering the quality.
The dining environment however, needs improvement. It's obvious that the diner was intended to be a delivery only service, and that the monastery tables were added as an afterthought, since they was such a big outdoor space available. But being in a seaside town and dining away from the seaside and so close to traffic, isn't really that inviting.
So, yes. Try it by all means. It tastes great and it won't break the bank. But it's better to have it delivered or picked up and enjoyed in better surroundings.
If my rating was based solely on the food, it would be five stars. I'm only deducting a star because of the dining space provided.
