★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here after being told we had a 12 hour delay on our flight home. We were tired, packed up, and we'd needed to leave our hotel so had time to kill. Our mood was not it's best, though we were determined to make the most of our time that was left to us in Crete.
I've said all of the above to make it clear how though we walked in a little frustrated, we've had such a wonderful time I'm glad for the delay on our plane. The best food we've had since landing a week ago.
The portions were large, and very well prepared. The prices reasonable and the sangria was lovely. The view is the same as a lot of the restaurants alongside the waterfront. Exquisite.
I hope to come back again to the friendly staff here at their wonderful well kept restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious seafood, one of the best I've ever ate. Mousak and souvlaki chicken amazing but I don't recommend taking seafood soup or alcohol drinks. Still five stars because of great seafood and service. After dinner we've got free shot of local vodka.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Petalida is a true pearl, we recommend everyone on Crete to come here to have an amazing culinary experience! We came here everyday for all our meals during our stay. We tried most of the things on the menu and not once did we get disappointed, every time was a true pleasure. The food is tasty, well prepared and fresh , good portions and the service is great. With the food comes beautiful sea view. Alex & the team are kind, hard working and very customer and service focused. We will for sure remember this place for a very long time, hopefully we can come back someday! Thank you to all staff at Petalida!
