Petrakis Beach Aparthotel - Unnamed Road

Hidden gem of a little private hotel right on the beach set in the peaceful south Eastern corner of the island (Approx 1¼-1½ hrs drive from the airport). Hosts are incredible as it's beachfront location with seated areas & sun loungers with sun umbrellas. The rooms are impeccably spotless with everything presented in sealed bags for guaranteed cleanliness. They are all beautifully decorated. The front two rooms (#1 and #2) have a dual windowed corner aspect above the restaurant overlooking the beach with the Ionian Sea beyond. Behind the beach and below the hotel is the family owned restaurant. To top it all this all sits on a stunning sandy beach which slopes gently into the sea and runs some way to the south ending at a little fishing harbour. Stretching in front of it all is a rustic (watch your footing) timber pier cum jetty which extends far out into the sea. Everything you need is here for the perfect relaxing, chillaxed get away from it all style of holiday. Bring a book and your troubles and leave the latter here when you go home. That is Eugenious, Helena and their daughter Sophia. This family who own and run the place are the most wonderful people you will ever meet on Corfu. Nothing is too much trouble. All they want to do is make sure your stay with them is perfect - and that's exactly what it is ..... PERFECT ?????? Our room was incredible on arrival with everything touchable provided in sealed plastic packets. Our room was cleaned daily with our towels changed also. They helped us with our car hire booking before we arrived. They arranged our boat trip to Paxos, Antipaxos & The Blue Caves. They even arranged our CV-19 test and actually went with us both to the harbour & pharmacy. The Nikoplous family are incredible as is what they have created here at Petrakis Beach Family Hotel - a little corner of paradise here on Corfu.

A typical family owned aparthotel for Corfu with a little extra. There is an attached taverna which it owned by the apartment owners brother. We stayed on a room only basis. Our room had a double bed plus a single both very comfortable was well maintained and was nicely decorated. It had a small but usable shower room. Aircon was included in the price there was a fridge in room which had a bottle of water and a couple of small bottles of soft drinks also included. A small bottle of red wine with glasses. Kettle with coffee cups were supplied and a hair dryer. Each room has a small balcony with a table and chairs. There are also 2 seafront rooms with a longer balcony and a view which is simply stunning. I would very happily stay here again

Positive: Really friendly staff and owner who drove us back and forth to the harbor. They really care about making your stay as good as possible. Also helped us to book a boat trip :-). Negative: Well, the only thing that was not so good was the beds.They really need to be replaced. Hard and bumpy were they and me who has a bad Back had a not so good night sleep. Otherwise a really nice hotel!.

I had the pleasure to be one of the clients of Petrakis Beach Bar. We are coming from Spain and every time we go to this place where we can chill and have a great food. The owner Spiros and Olga they always take care we have everything we need. The food is absolutely delicious and we definitely recommend the fish that Olga prepares. Totally recommended place if you are in Alykes.

We stayed at short notice as the accommodation we had arranged fell through.The warmth and friendliness we were treated with was fantastic nothing was too much trouble and having an on site restaurant was a godsend and being right on the shoreline you can have a dip at any time without having to go anywhere.The room was spotless and of a generous size and cleaned regularly. The great bonus was this hotel was also incredible value for money. We have recommended this hotel to all our friends.

Fabulous location, right on the beach,family owned taverna downstairs which serves great food. There were so many extras in the room!!! The bed was very comfortable, linen changed every couple of days,along with towels. Cleaned daily.The owners are so welcoming, thier hospitality Fabulous!

We absolutely loved this apartment/hotel. Firstly the customer service of the staff is spectacular. They took so much care with arranging airport lifts (and waited a long time because of our delayed flights), local knowledge and transport to our next destination. It is the best experience with staff at a hotel that either myself or my partner have had and we are fairly well travelled! Secondly the location is very good. It is in a quiet neighbourhood and right on the beach with fantastic sunset views and plenty of sun loungers and place to sit. Finally, the restaurant there is well priced and very delicious! We were able to try some brilliant seafood and local dishes. Thank you everyone at Petrakis we will be back!
